Can anyone tell me who's been to either one of these parks lately is construction highly noticeable at them? I know when my little brother went to AK last time he said it was like you could't turn around without seeing a screen somewhere and I know HS is supposed to have a lot of construction going on as well. We are currently planning our Aug-Sept trip and haven't been to AK for the last few trips but if stuff is still that noticeable not sure we want to go there again yet. Thanks in advance for the help.

Highly visible at DAK.
And, likely will be "centrally intrusive" for another 8-12 months.

There are quite a few walls up in AK. For HS it's only where the sorcerer hat was. But I don't think any walls are enough to avoid a park completely. The walls at AK are generally at the end of the entrance bridge as you approach the tree of life. The rest of the park is pretty open and clear of walls.

Had a great time at Animal Kingdom today. Walls were there but it doesn't really impact the feel of the park. Got to see both baby gorillas, so who cares that we had to walk past a few walls during the day.

Walls and screens everywhere at AK. Didn't see as much at DHS except for the on going Blue Hat removal. Didn't dampen our experience at either park though.

As of two weeks ago, there aren't any walls up in front of the Tree of Life. However, there are walls up throughout lots of the rest of the park -- including huge portions of Asia and the area all around the Nemo theater (from Dinoland to Asia). I'm some areas, it's a literal corridor of walls.

Yep AK was brutal a few weeks ago, but so was MK for a while and so beyond worth the wait IMO.
