You seem to mention ANYTHING negative to "they all watch FOX". I have to say, it's tiring and very discriminatory. I watch FOX along with other channels and I do not believe any of the mentioned conspiracy theories. We get it. You hate FOX and think all people who watch FOX are ignorant lemmings.

Fox is a garbage "News" site. But so is CNN and MSNBC. Anything on the bottom 2/3rd s of the Y-Axis of the chart below is garbage. These are not news sites. They are for entertainment purposes only.

Looking carefully at your chart, Fox is listed as "some reliability issues and/or extremism." That is already a BIG 'and/or' which is partially why the chart is a bit weird and misleading. Since being unreliable and extremism are two very different things. CNN does not fall into that category. They fall into "Reliable/ High in Analysis and Opinion." CNN's Source Reliability rating is much, much higher than Fox, and the rating for MSNBC is a bit higher than Fox, about 7 points higher. But that represents a high percentage (at least a third higher.)

I doubt you could name a single lie that Rachel Maddow has told on her MSNBC show as where it would take a long time to list the lies told on Fox news. Her broadcasts are fact-filled and do an incredible job looking at current events through the lens of history. I could say the same for Lawrence O'Donnell, Chris Hayes, Ari Melber, and Brian Williams.

When CNN interviews an expert on the CIA, foreign policy, or many other subjects they have tremendous credentials and experience. In addition, the present White House press secretary used to regularly appear on their Election coverage along with many other prominent supporters of both political parties. CNN covers the news, whether it's the downing of an airplane or the release of Hilary's emails. They get regularly criticized by left-leaning organizations like Media Matters.

So please don't lump them in with Fox.

My oldest sister. She is in her late 70s & has always been bad about conspiracies, but since she discovered the internet & you tube she is literally off the chain.

Does it really matter if it is concrete or not? They will keep saying it no matter what evidence they have. Their viewers will believe it and the other side will reject it as fabricated.

What puzzles me is why foreign countries like China crackdown so much on protesters. They should just look to the US example and realize that if you control the media you can control the vast majority of citizens.

I'd have to disagree. Brett Baier on Fox is a very solid, straight NEWS person, IMO. You are conflating the "news" with the "editorial" or opinion/entertainment programming on the channel(s) and they are very distinct. People like Hannity, Tucker, etc will be the first to tell you they are not news but (obviously slanted) opinion.

I believe Ad Fontes Media aggregates all of the programming on each site to determine the Y-Axis rating.

China 100% controls the media for their citizens, as well as their internet access and apps. They are monitored 100% of the time.

Agreed. I just find it puzzling that they feel a need to ship 1,000,000+ Uighurs to re education camps. Just making sure they are injected with a daily dose of Communist Party propaganda should be enough.

Amnesty International is not a "Google Site." It is the most prominent Human Rights organization. I didn't need to Google it, because I keep up with the news.

If your point is that most people are stupid, yes, I agree with you. But it is not across the board because all of my acquaintances already know about this issue. For some people it will be news, but if you Google 'Uyghur' and add ANY prominent news organization (NY Times, Washington Post, CNN), etc., you will find results.
