At first we weren't planning on hitting any sit-down meals with exception to the ESPN Club, but after finding out we can get into the P&P Party starting at 4pm, we'd like to make an ADR for the Plaza at the MK.

I've never eaten hear before but DBF has; his only comments were: it's small and always seems to be running behind  Thanks buddy, your a big help.

Can anyone give me a better idea of what to expect? We checked out the menu and it's fine for our tastes (we're simple folk) but really don't want to waste "too much" time waiting for our meal.

It seems more like a glorified CS to me than a tranditional sit down (which is perfectly fine for me, especially considering that I think the food is reasonably priced) am I right about that? The seating looks similar to what we had at the Crystal Palace though. Are there any tables of 2, or is it all tables of 4 that they sit two people at?

Is it really "that" small? Does it feel crowded? How is it noise level wise?

We honestly don't have high expectations and have never had a problem in the past with any CS or TS meal. We're just looking for a decent meal!

Any insight would be greatly appreciated.

We had lunch there last August and we were really pleased that we'd made the effort to go. I guess it is a bit like a glorfied CS but the food is nice and the deserts are Yummy. It is small but didn't feel "crowded" and we were able to look out and see the castle while we ate which was lovely, It wansn't noisy either.

We love the Plaza. I don't find it to be any noiser than any other restaurant at WDW. We have never had slow service, either, but that's just our experience. We've eaten here at least a half dozen times (including the last time which was right before the P&P party last February) and always liked it.

I guess you could call it "glorified counter service" except that I think it's always been a little "fresher" if you know what I mean. The interior does have some of the same feel as CP, but not as "busy" as there are no characters.

We like the Plaza and have enjoyed several meals there. The food is good, the prices are reasonable, and the atmosphere is nice. And lots of times its not as busy as the other table service restaurants and we've been able to get in without an ADR pretty quickly.

This has become one of our must dos every trip. We have always had exceptional service, loved the food, and were seated within five minutes of our ADR. We went at 4:30 in the afternoon on our last visit and were able to look out at the castle. It was a lovely evening.

:yay:
I am a fan of the Plaza. It is true, it is small and can seem crowded. On the up side though, it is a nice place to sit down, relax, and have some good food. I love their chicken sandwich and their shakes are delicious! I think you should definitely try it....

On a side note, my OP has several mispelled words and I'm sorry about that :ssst: it was a total panic post before I had to do some work away from the PC.

Thank you so much for all your imput! I ended up calling and booking a 5:40pm reservation (only time close to my 6pm - 7pm ball park time).

It sounds perfect for us; especially with what we're looking for. A nice, relaxing meal with good food in a nice enivorment. I always seem to forget about this place, but can't wait to try it now!

Thanks again!

You all have conviced me to try it on our next trip. I planned alot of CS meals but this seems like a less $ TS. the menu looks good
