Forgive me if this has been asked elsewhere.
I am considering changing our dates in order to take advantage of the General Public FD offer.
We are 2 adults/2teens currently booked starting 10/17, rack rate, for 6 nights at CSR with park hopper&more tickets and the regular dining plan.
By moving our trip up two weeks, we could get free dining and therefore save $959 !
Now, given that FD ends 10/3, I know this all depends on whether or not we will be allowed to check in on 10/2 or 10/3 and still receive the FD for length of stay.Does anyone know if thats the way its been in the past?
IF it works out that way, what will the process be for me when I call WDTC?
Will I have to completely cancel my existing ressie, get refunded the money already paid, and rebook with a new deposit? OR, will they be able to transfer my funds already paid onto the new ressie?
I have never had to reschedule a ressie before so I am a virgin in that aspect.Any guidance you can give me will be GREATLY appreciated
Also---if the General Public offer will be announced on Monday, should I call first thing that morning or wait til the systems are updated??
