Considering off site hotel, need help!

We are considering staying off site the last 2 weeks of October, we always stay on site so I am looking for some feed back on spme of our choices. we have found several timeshares to rent a two bedroom at. It will be myself, my wife, daughter, age 3, son age 9 months, and mother and father in-law.
If anyone has any experience with the following, I would love to hear it, good or bad! Thanks!!

Have you considered renting a house? I've never stayed on site but have rented houses several times in the past. There are tons of them down there. Most of them are a short drive to the parks and have all the things that you'd need. Plenty of room. Quiet surroundings. Full kitchen. Most have covered pools too. The only thing they don't have (but available at extra cost) is house cleaning. I've rented from one owner twice and was very satisfied with both the accomodations and the price. If you'd like, I can provide the links to the website that I use.

Have you looked into the Marriott Grand Vista? It is accross from SeaWorld. We have stayed there twice, two bedrooms, big balconys, full kitchens, and large "family room". There are many different configurations.
It is an easy drive to WDW, SeaWorld, or Universal.

We have gone (and are doing it again the end of Oct) with our 3yr old, my wife, and her parents.
