Considering Marriott Grande Vista -- questions

Hi, folks. We're considering a short stay at the Marriott Grande Vista. I know it's a great place, but I'm concerned about convenience. We've always stayed on-site at Disney, and we've used the Disney busses. How long would it take to get from the Marriott to Disney? Disney is a big place, so let's say Epcot. With morning traffic, how long will this drive take?

We are proud and excited owners at Marriott Grande Vista. YOU WILL LOVE IT!! It is only 20 minutes or less to EPCOT or WDW. The villas there are beautiful and you will not regret it. We were just there in October and had no trouble with traffic, even during rush hour.

I'd say 20 minutes or less also. My parents stayed there a couple of weeks ago. We are DVC members and they spent a day with us and we spent a day with them at the Grande Vista. It's beautiful. It's close to Seaworld. The quality is right up there with the Disney DVC resorts.

I was impressed with Marriott Grande Vista and we own DVC at the Beach Club Villas and Wilderness Lodge. So I'm hard to please when it comes to off site. I wouldn't mind a week there before a DVC stay!

depends upon traffic and which way you go - from International Blvd - then 15 to 20 minutes - from I4 (using the exit at SW) - it is probably less than 10 minutes (if the lights are with you) - now it traffic this can be 30 minutes - but the last time we stayed close by - it was generally 10 minutes - Orlando is trying to make their Interstate system better!!!

Sw is less than 5 minutes - US/IOA - 20 minutes on IB - on the interstate - I don't know - the interestate connection to go to Orlando was on the other side of SW and it was just easier to go all the way by IB - so I can't help here.

It took us about 15 minutes to get to the parks in Novemeber. There was never a traffic problem when we were there.
