Considering Hawthorn Suites LBV - good idea or not?

Found a great rate on hotelkingdom.com for our travel dates - Dec. 2nd to Dec. 14th.. A one-bedroom suite for $64.90 a night.. Looks like a really nice place - close to Downtown Disney - has a free hot breakfast - full kitchen - queen size sleeper sofa in the living area, as well as a recliner, etc..

Who has been there? Did you like it? Was the location good? Any pro's or con's I should know??

Unfortunately any dealings with PRICELINE are impossible for us as our plans could change at the drop of a hat, so this looked like a pretty good deal for the price..

Would appreciate any input!

We stayed there last year and loved it. That is a great rate. We paid 76.00 a night and felt like we were getting a good deal. The breakfast is mostly cold items and then 1 or 2 hot items such as eggs, sausage, potatoes, etc. Travel time to Downtown Disney in our rental car took about three minutes. The rooms are VERY nice as was the hotel overall. Personally, I would jump on this deal if I could . If you have any other questions, ask away.

we have a reservation for this hotel october 24-30, i have the same rate as you do. i have only heard good things about this place on these boards, so i hope it is as good as everyone says.

I stayed at Hawthorn Suites LBV last May for four nights, in a king bed suite. I loved it!!! The place is only about three years old, and clean and well-maintained. I stayed there as a solo, too, and felt very safe. The breakfast was fine - muffins, cereals, tater tots and scrambled eggs, and it was all pretty good. I paid $90 a night, so you got a good deal!
