Meeeee!!!! I especially love Ace of Cakes. My friend is getting a cake from the Ace of Cake's bakery for her 18th birthday- which is in two years but her parents had to make the reservation for it NOW!!!

wow!!! no last minute remarkable cakes i guess. i am so amazed with what they are able to do! i'm watching for the second time the cake divas making the hollywood cake (pink cadillac with a bunch of hollywood icons in the back). so neat!

has your friend chosen her design?

I was talking about those who don't listen and will not understand, hear, or tolerate the other point of view. Sarah Palin's as conservative as you can be and I love her. I guess I just chose my words poorly. My bad.

I'm a social and fiscal conservative as well.

No worries, mate. I do foot in mouth and it's hard to say what you mean over the net sometimes.

I'm watching "It's Me or the Dog" on animal planet. I swear this trainer woman never blames the dog for anything. Pooping on the floor? Owners fault. Incessant barking? Owners fault. Dog bites children? Owners fault. Dog is agressive? Owners fault.

As for Food Network stuff, I don't watch it. I gain weight just from breezy's cooking.
If DH caught me licking the plasma TV he'd freak.

For anyone that is able to watch C Span on Thursday (and now they are claiming it will take 2 days) morning, Eric Holder's confirmation hearings will be televised. Between the Marc Rich and FALN terrorist pardons and that little job with Blago and the IL Gaming Commission he forgot to put on his questionnaire, it should be an interesting hearing. I seriously doubt he will be denied the position, but his politicizing of the Justice Dept through those pardons that were provided over the protests of the career staffers makes me cringe. So much for the people's AG.

i dont' know why breezy hasn't supplied tonight's dinner yet. hope she gave up 24 instead of us. (and i guess we have to wait about two weeks to see spark's cake... )

I love the Food Network! My favorite show on there is Diners, Drive-Ins, and Dives. There's some cool restaurants out there just waiting for me to try them.

I think there are dogs that have problems that are not attributable to humans. Some dogs just have behavior problems.

It's a shame, isn't it?? There's maybe two of them that I can talk to without getting flamed or ridiculed in some way. The rest..... Sort of like when I tried to wish them Merry Christmas..... that went over really well.

without reason, they find it necessary to hide behind meanness. makes 'em feel athoritative. plus, it garners support from the others, so they feel popular. we're more secure and we don't need that.
