I'm going to lay down a bit. I think I over did it today, and I still need to cook treats in a while. I can't put it off because I still have a broccoli salad and deviled eggs to make before Christmas Eve and I have to work Monday and Tuesday. At least I am done shopping and got the cards mailed, but I still need to wrap presents too. The Fibro is rearing it's ugly head. I'll be back on later!

Neighbors were neighborly today. I have no idea what was up with yesterday. Maybe they were just snowed over and tired. I am forever grateful to the 18ish boy who did stop! DH and I both told DS that he better be that guy when he starts driving on his own. Especially here in our village where everyone might not know your name, but they know what street or area you live on/near!

To everyone in Washington... I hope you're staying warm and keeping your power!

Brazillian? steakhouses sound cool - like ohana's! I've never seen one up here, but I'm not in the hot bed of Detroit area restaurants.

I did the official deck measurement of snow. Last week our snow melted, then we got four inches. Another 11.5-12 fell yesterday. We have a good 16 on our deck. Supposed to get more tomorrow (not much/couple of inches) and some storm I think from our great friends in Washington, unless Michelle can push it back, on Tuesday.

I haven't ventured out on the CB today; is it safe?

We ate at one in Myrtle Beach last year. Yummmm. But I agree with the recommendation made on our previous thread - go there with a BIG appetite. It is a meat eaters dream (apologies to our non-meat eating friends!)

Thanks. Wasn't my idea, though. It was suggested last time around and someone brought it up again at the end of the other thread, so I ran with it. My title would have been "Conservative thread: the adults aren't home." Probably wouldn't have looked very good.
