My house is a mess - that's Bush's fault too. I can't wait until Obama is president - then I'll have a clean and orderly house. Life will be perfect and WDW will be free.

I've always lurked, but am officially coming out to flaunt my conservative-ism proudly. This country is going to be a mess once Obama gets in office. My family and I have already had many conversations that we need to hunker down and worry about our family....do what we can to survive these 4 years.

I honestly think all of these people that voted for him really believe they'll be getting monthly checks so they won't have to worry about paying their mortgage and gas bills. Sad, really....they're in for quite a shock!

I mean, Obama's "stimulus" ($1000/couple--no kids) isn't even as much as Bush's was. ($1200/couple, $300 per kid), yet the Messiah is going to "take care" of all of us?

My sister in law and her husband are going to DC to see the inauguration. I suggested they wait until he actually does something before celebrating his presidency.

As for me, I look forward to the disappointment across America when this perceived utopia doesn't happen.

Anyone else but me think that won't happen? Even when Obama sits and does nothing, it will STILL be Bush's fault. "How can Obama fix Bush's mess in just 4 years", they'll be saying....BECAUSE HE CAMPAIGNED AND WON ON THAT PROMISE!

I'm not happy about his election, but I truly hope that nothing like that happens. Regardless of his political views, he has a wife that loves him and 2 beautiful little girls who would lose their Daddy.

I know, I don't like him either and am for this country with him being in office. BUT, I don't want to see 2 little girls lose their father.

There are always threats against the President, I'm sure there were many against President Bush because he made so many people irrationally angry.

Our Pastor said again on Sunday that we must continually pray for Almost President Obama because God can do anything, and could change his heart about some of the things he has claimed he will do.

It will always be Bush's fault. They will conveniently blame him for the problems Obama encounters upon entering office even though we blamed Bush for the problems when he first took office rather than blaming Clinton. The only time we did mention Clinton was to say how his programs worked so well and set up Bush for all the good things that happened during his presidency. Anything good that happens to Obama will of course be good for Obama because he's magical. These are the same people that believe in Global Warming so I guess I shouldn't be so surprised.

They'll just say it's because he can't do anything yet since President Bush is still in office. Those people have an answer and an excuse for everything. It'll be interesting to see how they spin it a year from now when things are the same if not worse over there.

Oh gosh, I hope not. Even though I don't agree with his ideology, I still wish him no harm and pray that he'll be a successful president. I'm willing to eat crow for the sake of our country and pray that something like this would never happen.

There have been many threats against Bush though most haven't been reported, unless it's a shoe flying in his face or something embarrassing like that.

I have no worries about PE Obama being hurt - I'm sure our SS will take good care of him and keep him safe. I just hope that Obama keeps US safe.

It's this stuff and hearing about the environmental idiots that want the gov to tax us on gas since gas is now "too low" that make me just go . Have there been discussions about the environmental idiots? They want us all paying $5.00/gallon. Never mind how that's going to continue to tank the economy as it's already been proven that no one can afford gas that high and we still have to commute to work somehow! Oh, and most cities don't have good public transportation - there aren't a lot of options for most people to get to work by. I know there are idiots on the right but I'm beginning to see that there are a lot more on the left - they don't think things through.

Not to mention that not all of us live in cities at all...

Hey, there's bus service where I live. There is ONE bus stop on my three mile stretch of road, and it is pick up on demand---which means you have to call the day before to arrange for the bus to even come down this road. If you remember to do that, it runs approximately every two hours, weekdays only, and the last bus run out here leaves the transit center at 6:45. Good luck if you work very far away... OH and there is no such thing as a "Park and Ride" on this Peninsula, either. There's one in Purdy, and one in Gig Harbor, but good luck trying to find a parking spot. Go ahead, park in one of the business lots nearby. They'll tow your car by lunch time.

But then again I'm a trained dancer so I see things with a different eye than the average viewer. I don't care much for contemporary dance, so that Russian soloist was nothing spectacular for me.

me too, trained all of my life (ballet primarily, jazz, tap, exhibition ballroom), and i'm tired of sub-standard stuff. which is why i was so disappointed at the last "dancing with the stars", and the first one too, come to think about it. the only real dancing show, in my opinion, is "so you think you can dance", 'cause most of the contestants can.

this new show seems to be a "which country's folk dancing do you like best?" if you're competing in argentine tango, then each country's team should perform argentine tango on argentine tango day, and so forth.

i'll be watching house reruns from now on; this junk isn't worth my time.
