Hey guys, just dropping in with a quick vent.

I went back to school today and it turns out that my balence is twice what I thought it would be. I have to pay $4000 instead of $2000.

Anyway, this means I have to take out another loan, this one being about $2000. I'll contribute another $500, but my poor parents still have to take up the rest. I now have $11000 in debt which I plan on paying off by working like a madman while living at home. After that I'll go to grad school. Still, it is a really stressful day, expecially when my family is struggling so much. I know everyone is struggling nowadays, so I know I'm not alone, but I still feel like it adds an extra layer of stress onto my senior year. The good news is that I won't have to deal with friggin' PBA after this year.

So yeah, everyone's prayers would be appreciated. I was hping to move to Tennessee to go to school, but I will probably end up staying in FL. Either that or I will move up in Jan and wait another semester. Right now I'm just a little terrified about the future and how I'm going to survive with the debt, even if I do pay most of it off. Anyway, that's all. See you guys later, I'm off to class.

Prayers for you, but having been there (and still paying off student loans) you'll get through this. Keep your grades up and get those resumes out as soon as you can. What are you majoring in again (I'm sure you told us, but I don't remember).

No matter what you do, DON'T get yourself hooked on credit cards. I know that's not what you were talking about, but consider it free advice from someone who messed up and should have known better.

So I had the TV for about an hour this morning and I was able to watch Pres. Bush's last press conference. I don't get the TV that often (I have three kids and a husband addicted to sports) so that was very nice.

Hi guys! Seven more days!

I'm trying to attack some projects in the house today. I want to declutter some areas and get rid of junk so the stuff we actually use can be put away more nicely. I'd really like to do this from one end of the house to the other, but I don't know if I can get that done in the time I have left. I just want my husband to come home to a better organized and neater house than he left. I'm having trouble getting properly motivated, so I called my mother and she's going to come out and do something she needs to do online. She's a good motivator just by her presence. My mother has that great mother-guilt presence that makes you want to clean something.

My kitchen is NEVER that clean...except for the 5 seconds immediately after I finish scrubbing it where I don't permit anyone to go in there!

Mine either, and actually what I was thinking when I looked at that picture was "OMG look at all that bare counter!"

That's how it is in this house too. Kitchen stays clean for about 15 seconds. Nobody does laundry in this house either. Stinkers.

Yup, here too. I made my daughter help me the other night---by folding half a basket of her own laundry---and you'd have thought I was torturing the child. My husband is great about doing laundry (or whatever else needs to be done, really) but he isn't here.

Oh, no way. We're never leaving Florida. Yes, the summers can be brutal, but that's why God created AC and put it in every building and vehicle down here. We hibernate inside in the summers the way people up North hibernate inside during the winter.

Soooo.... in my Honors Forum class we are talking about the coronation next Tuesday (a bunch of students are going.... gag me please) and we all got assigned a president's inaugural speech to research and discuss. Guess who got Reagan? Yours truly here..... no one else in there was getting our favorite old school conservative president!
