I do the same things.
It can get hard, though, because let's look, for example, at POTC 1, 2, and 3. Like the movies but Johnny Depp is an anti-American jerk who doesn't like the US so much that he moved to France. So it's hard for me to watch his movies. Which is too bad because he's usually in good movies.

I would miss Johnny. I think he's one of the best actors of our generation. I like the fact that he moved. At least he didn't just keep talking about it like some other gas bags in Hollywood. I don't like the fact that he's anti-American, but at least he's not a hypocrit. Who knows....there's so many of them that are complete whackadoodles (that's my new favorite word btw. I think it'll get a lot of mileage over the next 4 yrs )

I think he's a good actor. And while part of me says at least he moved and didn't just talk about it, the fact remains that he hates this country. Yet he'll come here and do movies and take American money...

It is so easy to be presumptive; I don't think some people ever have enough imagination and/or creativity and/or humility to envision someone who is different may actually be more multi-faceted than they. Just because you have certain beliefs, does not mean you can be neatly packaged into a one-size-fits-all pigeon-hole, despite the desire of some for that to be true.

it was weird to see non-religion turned into something about all that other non-related stuff. i mean huh?

to become soooo emotional about something a person claims to not believe in tells me that person is struggling with the lack of a spiritual life. and is so troubled with it that the person is now objectifying other issues.

mickey cookie cutter...a wonderful excuse for me to hurry up and go to d'land again. i haven't been since may, and the withdrawals are overwhelming.

speaking of which, when you were recently there, the castle walkthrough must've been open. did you walk through? that darned thing has been closed for YEARS!

I don't know if it was open or not. We didn't get a chance to walk-through if it was.
