Hey Michelle, it's really bad up here. There's about 8 inches of snow or so on the ground, but it's icing over. GRRRRRR. So another day stuck in the house tomorrow. I'm hoping to get the Amtrak out on Saturday down to Vancouver, so we'll see if that happens... Otherwise I may be stuck here through the holidays. Doh!

Actually, if we're adopting you, I'm thinking you need a chaperone to stay with you during CP. Even though you are legally an adult, I think you may be too impressionable and need extra guidance being away for so long.

Alright guys and gals, I can barely keep my eyes open, so I'm going to hit the hay. Pray for a snow day tomorrow! (My kids are begging to go to school tomorrow. They have their Christmas parties and part of their party they'll be sledding. Our school is built on a hill and there are two prime sledding spots for the kids. I think that is so darn cool of the teachers to do this!) But, I want a snow day tomorrow because I'm too darn lazy to take the kids to school. Yeah, I know I'm a really mean mom. I need to just go to bed and maybe I'll be just fine getting up tomorrow morning.

I hope you get your snow day.

I hope you can get out. I'm so glad we went to the store yesterday. There's no way I'd try driving today. There's a hill with a sharp S curve at the top of my road. I'm a little bummed, though, because I didn't get my Christmas cards done until late last night, and my friend tells me it is supposed to stay like this until Christmas day. The sad part of that is that we don't have mail pickup here. I'd have to drive five miles to the post office to mail them...up that hill with the curve.

They canceled school up here for tomorrow, so it's going to be nasty again!

I'm really uptight right now. I'm waiting on test results and waiting for the neurosurgeon to review my MRI films, so I guess I'm not much in the holiday spirit right now. Everybody think good thoughts that I'll hear from the surgeon by Christmas and also get my test results. I really need some good news. I really want Santa to bring my full diagnosis of Cushing's Disease so I can go to surgery to have my tumor removed. That's all I want. I don't want presents, just bring me that diagnosis. Please.

Well, that settles it. You go on vacation, come be adopted by us, I travel with you to supervise and maybe even make sure that everything in the parks, including the food, are as they should be. I want your Disney experience to be truly magical so I must do everything in my power to assist.
