He was on the Communist News Network for the past 3 years, and was the sole voice of sanity over there...Fox News will be much more his style. If you've never heard his show, check out some of the clips on his website. His telling of the Christmas Story is one of the best around. The Easter one is great as well as Telltale Heart that he does at Halloween.

:thumbsup2

oh...and if your DH loves sports, he should listen in on Fridays during Football Season...Moron Trivia is the best!

That's why he's never been on in our house-that channel doesn't exist for us. We have the Christian radio station on in the car because we like how clean the DJ's are and how positive the music is. Now they're playing all Christmas carols and it's so nice. DH plays it at work too-it annoys his co-workers but they won't say anything because they'd have to lose their radios too! :goodvibes

We watch all the Fox prime time shows if there's no game on so if Beck is part of their lineup-he'll be part of ours.

It's only the beginning. Floppy has surrounded himself with scummy people so it's no surprise. His term(s) as POTUS will be Mr. Floppy Ear's Wild Ride.

I knew he was a Mormon (I think someone here clued me in; didn't know before that!) We're a pretty mixed bunch on this thread.

I just got a phone call. My car is no longer "Hockeymom tough". WOOO HOO! I will be having a class later today about garbage cans and driving backwards down a long driveway when you're 15, if anyone is interested in adding their children to my presentation. It will include driving on ice and snow, which is respresented well in my driveway. Afterwards they can join in:

1. Ditches, closer than you think when its snowing
or
2. Grocery carts are the enemy.

I'm contemplating buying the thing[my car, not the dent]. It does have my hockey decals on it. :) We're even getting a decent interest rate which is amazing for the way our summer and fall has gone!

You guys will get a laugh out of this. Santa came by today (the firemen bring him around on the firetruck)

Santa came by where I am at as well! I am staying in a hippy town that used to be a stop for easterners on their way to Haight-Ashbury, called Manitou Springs. Last Sunday while eating lunch, I saw Santa ride by on a motorcycle, followed by at least 200 other bikers in festive attire! It was so funny. The randomness has made my stay in Manitou very enjoyable, even though I look forward to returning home where shampoo is normative!

I know Manitou Springs very well! If you haven't already, eat at The Loop. Very tasty Mexican food.

That town has more witches than anyplace around. Very active Wicken culture there. And lots of greasy hair!:scared:

Well that's certainly off my list of places to visit! :scared1:

I have Rush on - he is playing all the other news people talking about how crazy Blgo is. I guess the left word of the day will be "delusional". Always entertaining but also sad.

I am listening to his show from yesterday, and his opening monologue was great. I am looking forward to hearing his show from today once I get my 24/7 download.

His Hillsdale lecture was stirring and hilarious (listen for his comment on Barney Frank and the auto ceo's)! Check it out on www.rushlimbaugh.com. It is under the tab for Monday.

Sidenote: Do any of you amost barf when you read threads about Disney planning and see some of the hateful posters you have come to know and love here on the Community Board on those threads? I am not just talking about the political threads, here on this board, you see some crazy's all over the threads. I was over on resorts and saw one of them and was halfway surprised to see them over there. Of course it is a Disney board after all! Might add, they gave the wrong information out! Kinda reminded me when I saw the witchy school crossing guard at church one day, I was like, wow, when you aren't screaming at little kids you actually go to church!

Don't get me started on the average online Disney fan! I met a few at an event a while back who were very snooty about their vast knowledge of (incorrect) Disney trivia. I would have shared my former cm experiences to help them out, but they were only interested in proving who was the bigger fan. To that end, I wanted to suggest a scale!

I just made one and am about to put it in my signature.:goodvibes

Oh, Goodie! I'll look at yours when I need a fix beyond his daily emails! I like the fact its a "sunny day" count down, too! Good job!

Well, goodnight all-DH will be home soon and I've got to get dinner ready. I have to get baking done tonight too-I'm giving baked goods out as gifts to our neighbors and some other friends and I'm starting to run out of time to get done!!!

Thanks so much for welcoming me to your home!!

And one of the best and biggest margaritas I remember having!

Yes, you do know Manitou! :hippie:

Oh yeah, hippies, witches and very big margaritas! There used to be another good place called Amanda's Fonda but I think they closed. The best thing about Manitou is the Santa's Workshop North Pole at the foot of Pike's Peak. Really neat little amusement park, great for little kids. Mine are too old now, have to wait to have some grandkids to go back there.

Its like Boulder used to be before all the liberal hippies turned into Yuppies!
