Conservative Thread: We cannot do everything at once, but we can do something at once

Well, it's approaching the witching hour and I have to work tomorrow, so I'm going to sign off now.

Just one thing before I go - I would love to have some shiny balls for my signature when I log on tomorrow. Can someone help me out here please?

(yup, I'm not above shamelessly seeking tags and shiny balls!)

Good night everyone! Don't stay up too late! :rotfl: :rotfl:

I picked up a little bed for him on Black Friday. It's so small, a loaf of bread won't fit length-wise in there...

Thanks! I'm one of the younger conservatives on here, though I think Soarin has me beat by a year.
It's so heartening to have younger people join us. Y'all are the future of the conservative movement. And I know how hard it is to be young and conservative, what with the push for all younger people to be liberals. Stand your ground, that's for sure.

And I'd post my own picture here too, but there are some people on this board I would really rather not have knowledge of who I am. I was reading another board here the other day and saw someone I went to school with posts in other boards here.

Soarin', we'll go start our own "I want a tag" thread! :snooty:

Thanks. Doesn't really make me feel any better, though. :sad1: It's one of my fav rides at DCA.
Maybe we can still go if I can come up with the extra moolah from my WAH job.
Is the ticket cost the main problem, or is it the travel? If it's the tickets, could there possibly be time share deals like they have in WDW where you take a tour of a timeshare and sit through a presentation and then get free tickets? Just a thought, anyway.

Ruh, roh -- you spoke too soon....here's your very own Obama mini statue, only 7 inches high [along it's officially called a figurine]

[I couldn't paste the image for some reason]
I don't understand the point of Presidential figurines. Really don't. Stores around here were selling them last Christmas of the Bush 41, Bush 43, Clinton, Carter, and Reagan varieties. I mean, I admire and look up to Ronald Reagan so much. He's my favorite President, favorite political figure. But I don't want an action figure of him! :confused3

Sounds like the last begging for a tag thread I was part of and got tagged on. All of you tagless conservatives out there - I expect for you to be tagged soon. I don't think that the tag fairy can resist threads of chocolate and underpants. We just need to add pictures of hot men. That's what we did on the other thread. Worked like a charm. ;)

Oh Humphrey Bear.....could you maybe help us out with this!!??

:confused3 :rotfl2: :worship: :thumbsup2

By the way, if you look at the back (top) of the sweater, there is a big "W" there. It is supposed to stand for Woolrich, but since my son plays for Wasilla High, and their team colors are red...we thought it made a pretty good team sweater!

Deb....

That'd be too bad, I'd be so sad, I might get mad, I'd tell my dad. That'd be too bad....that'd be too bad.

and my favorite part -- On the day I got my tooth,I had to kiss my Great Aunt Ruth. She had a beard and it felt weird. :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

Here's my issue with the deal, if anyone is interested. Without going into all my personal parameters, I believe abortion should stay legal and is sometimes warranted. However...the gift card thing is just really distasteful to me. What jumps into my mind is who gives it to whom, what is the context, and what is that saying?

This is one my favorite things about our thread - we don't all agree but that is perfectly okay. Flies in the face of all those who claim that we march in lockstep formation to one viewpoint.

And your premise about the PP card is right on point.

AWW!!! I want to reach thru my computer screen and give your puppy a hug. He's too adorable.

Yeah, ticket cost is the problem. And no, I don't believe they have those timeshare thingies for free tickets. :headache:
Travel isn't too much of a problem since we're already driving down. It isn't the reason we were going to CA; we're going for a family Christmas but were going to head to DL/DCA for a day.

And yeah, I'd rather not post my pics here either. Though those of you who added me on MySpace and Facebook know what I look like, I'd think.

Your son plays for Wasilla High? That's pretty sweet!! Here is MS we have 3 HS teams in the top 100 in the nation- one, Meridian High, is right near my house!!! We have South Panola at #10, D'Iberville at #51, and Meridian High at #71.

I can check online for any such offers for you. Will do so now before I turn in.

I like my shiny ball!

OK, now I really am going to turn in. Good night all!
Night! I'm quitting too in a few minutes.

Hey, blest, how's the SP scrapbook coming?
I kept meaning to ask the same question! How goes it, blest?
