I've heard rumors on several liberal blogs that Ann Coulter was injured in a fall and now has her jaw wired shut (you can imagine how delighted that makes these bloggers). Does anyone know for sure what happened?

All I heard was that she had a nasty fall and haven't heard any other details. I think the liberal bloggers are very thankful for her misfortune and some of the Libs on the CB made some rather snarky comments about it as well.

On the liberal thread they talked about it. The only information people have is she fell and broke her jaw. I would not wish this on my worst enemy. I had my jaw broken around this time of year and it was very depressing.

When it was said that some were making snarky remarks, was that an implied "every single person who has ever posted on the liberal thread"? I fail to see the point of designermv's barge, except that perhaps there was concern we might accidentally and demeritoriously label liberals as mean.

Let the record be set straight: liberals have bleeding hearts that ooze the blood of niceness, peace, and goodwill on everything they hover over. Accordingly, they would love nothing more than to see Ann Coulter covered in blood!

Actually no, but the bar now seems to have been set with the use of "Dubya" instead of George W Bush for our current President since this was used to paint him as some "hay seed" that is unworthy of the office. I have called President Bush W and GWB. Using W is not offensive at all as it is his middle initial but the people that called him bush (with a little b), shrub, village idiot, etc.... are out of line, but using someones actual name or initails is fine since it is their actual name and initials. No difference W to H.


I really don't care if someone want to refer to Barrack Obama as BO, BHO, H, Barry, or "His Ultimate Royal Highness President The One Messiah Whose Poop Does Not Stinketh Barrack Non-Muslim Hussein Obama." as these al pale in comparison to the treatment our current President has received.

You are right, I only said some posted snarky comments.

I love how if we will say that some Libs want Ann Coulter to suffer, we will get responses that we are painting with a broad brush as not all Libs are like that as that many wish her well.

Then Libs will see some wackadoodle preacher make a racist remark and they paint all Christians as being hateful like that.

I do see a difference but that is only my opinion. I don't agree with the shrub references (that's a little childish) but I thought the W was simply used to distinguish him from his father. Wasn't the name Dubya actually used by President Bush? As for the use of Hussein, I don't believe it is being used as innocently as some people like try to make out.

If the whole things stems from the treatment of Bush and his supporters disdain for the name calling, why not be the bigger person(s) and refrain from doing so.

I think it is because Conservatives are cramping up from all the bending over and taking it that has been thrust upon us. You can only be the bigger person for so long then you just don't give a crap since you are always the one that has to be the bigger person.

Franken Vows to Leave the Country

Disgusted with an elections process that won’t allow him to steal enough votes to win, (not so funny) comedian Al Franken (D) vowed today to the leave the country as soon as possible.

“Damn. I really thought those crackpots on the Board of Canvassers were going to let me win this thing, but they apparently believe in fair elections up here,” Franken said, flapping his ample lips. “This is ridiculous. If a man can’t steal an election, how can we say there is liberty and freedom to pursue happiness in this country? I’m going to leave this friggin’ place. It’s not socialist enough yet. I’ll go live with Sean Penn…or maybe Alec Baldwin. He’s funnier than I am.”

Franken made his statement after the Minnesota Board of Canvassers unanimously rejected his request to count 12,000 absentee ballots in a recount of the state’s hotly contested Senate race.

At the start of the recount Franken trailed Sen. Norm Coleman (R-Minn.) by 215 votes, of the 2.9 million ballots cast. Officials have recounted about 80 percent of the ballots, and Coleman maintains a slim lead.

The two campaigns are challenging about 3,600 votes, including 500 for Prince, 427 for former Minnesota governor Jesse “The Body” Ventura, and another 427 for Minnesota Vikings running back Adrian Peterson.

“Clearly those voters intended to vote for me,” Franken said. “None of those guys is a Republican, anyway. You know everybody loves me here. Just look at me: I have an electable face!”

Franken has fallen on hard times since the progressive Air America radio network failed to win advertisers and had to go underground (like your humble narrator) to the Internet. Most recently he was selling shoes at a discount store in Minneapolis at the Mall of America under the name of Al Bundy.

Baldwin could not be reached for comment. He and Penn were attending a charity event at a terrorist training camp in Pakistan.
