It makes me sad, yes, but if someone has the money and can buy a fur not made illegally (ex. from an endangered animal), it's not my business. I won't go all PETA on anyone. They're too radical of an organization for me; I'm more in line with the SPCA/Humane Society.

Alan Colmes seems like a very nice man, but I will not be sad to see him go. I'd love to see Glenn Beck get a spot on Fox's prime time line up. I heard he's going to be on at 5. I don't know how often I will get to tune in if that's the case. 4-7 is crazy busy at my house.

Seriously, though...once upon a time when I was young and in luuuuuub, I hated that my ex was gone for days or weeks at a time fishing/tendering, and once he said "Well hey, you could go with us this opening if you want." They were tendering in the San Juans. Pretty. One problem. Between me and the San Juans is the Strait of Juan de Fuca. It is characteristically ROUGH. I didn't gibber like a chimp, but I hated every second of that crossing, and got OVER him being gone. I waved good bye from the dock after that!

I've had Lake Huron do me in before. I can't imagine going out there! (I will say they had small craft warnings out, and it was a huge storm, but dh insisted the fish were going to bite in any second!* I've never been so sea sick in my entire life. I grew up on boats.. .and I had on TWO count them TWO life jackets on for the trip back. I still put that as the longest two hours of my life (trying to get back into port).

For the Michigan people, this was into Oscoda. That giant pier and us almost smashed a few times. I hate when the rollers put you ABOVE the pier/breakwall!

Huh?? What do you mean the food and drinks aren't real??

You know, that whole Palin baitfest/bashfest (part 50 or so) is really annoying me. So many people on that thread are just expressing this attitude that I hate in people; that blue collar, "normal" people, and/or people who hunt,fish, farm, etc., are just stupid and beneath them. I sometimes wish that middle America and Alaska would just refuse to send their crops and harvests (inc fish, etc) into place like NYC, DC, etc., and politely invite them all to eat their masters/doctoral/legal degrees and their fancy suits for dinner. Cuz you know..stoopid mite be contajus. Maybe if yoo eat are fud it will turn yoo stoopid. Yoo should just make yor own fud for smart peeple.

I totally agree! And those boat pictures are amazing! I can't imagine what it would be like to live in that kind of cold. I mean when it gets to be 65 degrees or so, we get all excited because we get to use our jackets, lol.

Cavuto's on at 4pm EST, so he shouldn't be affected by Glenn's show. I think it's called the Live Desk that's on at 5. They've changed the 5pm slot so often, I can't keep track.

I really hope Glenn gets a 7pm slot! It was perfect! I really miss him.

Oh, I'd love that! I'm all for bumping Shephard Smith back to an hour where few people are around to listen to him.

We were regular watchers of the Discovery channel series. I know I couldn't do it, nor would I want DH to do it! (though he does have a big resemblance to the Norwegian guy. DH is taller and skinnier, but real similar facial features!)
I cn't believe I can't think of his name right now! He's even done a showing at the store in EPCOT's Norway pavillion!

Glenns show starts in January but hes doing regular spots on o'reilly and such till then.(sorry for lack of punctuation. holding baby in one arm typing with the other hand)
