Walt Disney
Disney's hatred of Commies is no secret, and from 1940 until his death in 1966, he served as an informant for the FBI. As thanks for turning poor striking animators over to the House Committee of Un-American Activities, The Mouse King was awarded with full special agent status in 1954. Walt Disney: American treasure.

Hey ladies! So are you telling me I'm in serious trouble? My son's not an athlete yet, he's only 4, but he eats me out of house and home

I'm dreading that phase myself. DH is constantly eating, and with 3 boys growing up I'm going to be living at the grocery store.

For you guys who still have little athletes save your pennies now so you can feed them in a few years! DS and friends don't eat food they inhale it.

Yep, you're in trouble. :rotfl2:

Goodmorning everyone! :goodvibes Just checking in to say "hi". I'm off to watch my youngest march in a Thanksgiving day Parade for the first time as a "Young Marine". He's been waiting for this since he's been 3 :goodvibes

Oh what fun! I hope you get pictures and share with us. :)

i was trying to post on the old thread and found we moved again
Anyway, regarding Debbies
I posted wayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy back that in 3rd grade I was Debbie #4.
No last name, just Debbie #4

So let's see if I've got this right...

Hey...that makes you 'Debbie #4' again!....:rotfl2:

Hello all! One week from right now hubby and I will be waiting for our connecting flight and heading for WDW!!!! :woohoo:

How exciting! :cool1:

I did Black Friday once...
I value my life and I know some of those stores become insane on that morning. :scared:

I have never gone Black Friday shopping. :scared1:

I have one of my fav Christmas movies on:

"Tis the season to be Jorry.......

Fa Ra Ra Ra Ra, Ra Ra Ra Ra......."

Who doesn't love "A Christmas Story" ! :santa:

I love that movie :thumbsup2

OK. Question. Any ideas about what I should do in my Disney hotel room for Christmas?

I think it is a great idea to decorate your Disney hotel room for Christmas. We went down and stayed at Fort Wilderness one Christmas and we brought down stuff to decorate...we strung lights all over the room, Christmas stockings, a teeny, tiny little tree for the table, little felt snowmen, lots of other Christmas decorations...it was great. It all fit in one suitcase. (This was before the airlines charged for extra suitcases.

am i the only person who did not know this?

No, I hadn't heard that about Disney, either. Interesting. I'm going to have to get that book.

Hey...that makes you 'Debbie #4' again!....:rotfl2:

Don't forget me! :wave2: I guess that makes me Debbie #5.

Hmmm, me thinks I may have to stop at your place on the way down to my parents house in Vancouver for some goodies! :lmao: :lmao: :lmao: :lmao: :lmao: :lmao: :lmao: After all, for the 5.5 hour drive, I'll need some sustianance.... :rotfl:
You can stop by for a few at my house. I live a few minutes off of I-5. :goodvibes
No good homemade cookies here, though; I can't bake! :scared1:

I'll warn you. Buying clothes for the dog does become addicting! We do buy for comfort... BUT...it has to be cute, too!

Do you buy the dog clothes from Build-A-Bear Workshop? Because that's where I'd buy them. They have all those clothes for stuffed animals that are the perfect size. ;)

These sound wonderful. Could you give me guesstimate about how many it makes? If I live in Pa. and I cling to my religion and my guns, can I still make them?

The recipe says it makes about six dozen. More or less depending on how big you roll the little balls of peanut butter. :)

Oh, I'm sorry! We don't want to leave anyone out! :grouphug:

Is that everyone? :)

You know, with all of the Debbies on here... if we're in a discussion and I want to bring up something someone a page or two ago stated and can't recall who exactly it was that stated it (and am too lazy to go back and look), all I need to say is "Debbie said...." and I'll probably get it right. :teeth:

That's true, Dolce.:lmao:
I used to think that my name was really popular; it is but Debbie seems to be more so.

Growing up I knew one other Debbie, and a million other Jennifer/Jenny people!

Off to hockey. Did a big of redecorating. Have a great day, everyone!

I was usually one of a dozen or so Melissa's. In my third grade class there were three of us. We had maybe 25 in our class.
The teacher gave us nicknames. The one with long blonde hair was Melissa  , the one with long brown hair was Liss or Lissa, and me with the short short short (my stepmonster kept me practically shorn out of spite) black-brown hair was Missy, a name I detest to this day. :snooty:

I did the black Friday shopping day as a teen because it was fun for me then, but no way would I do it with my little kids. Maybe when they get a lot older, but for now, I'll just enjoy staying home with the fsmily and pulling out some Christmas decorations.

Hi everyone! Checking in! The bedroom looks wonderful, but I'm stuck on the basement. Taking a break to make a banner for my DD's Christmas play. (I don't know how to sew!!!)

We did the Black Friday thing two years ago when we were in Hawaii for Thanksgiving (IL's were stationed on Oahu). We stayed all night at Best Buy.

Didn't do it last year as I was 8 months preggo. This year DH might do it but not me! :rolleyes1

Hi Guys! I like the new title!

I haven't had a chance to go back and read the other thread yet. But here is a CHRISTMAS TREE for us! :goodvibes

This one reminds me of Hogsmeade (Harry Potter) for some reason.

That tree is so pretty.:goodvibes

I wouldn't like to be called Missy either. Sounds like a reprimand. "Listen here, Missy!" I always hated people trying to call me Shelly. I don't like that name (for me). There were always a zillion Michelles too. In fact, a lady with my maiden name (first and last) went to prison for accessory to murder of her own child. People who knew me and hadn't heard from me in years heard that and freaked out. Yeah, hello it WASN'T ME!

I'll start posting Christmas stuff Thursday evening. :santa:

You guys will have to forgive me for my premature Christmas sig. I usually don't like to see or hear Christmas stuff until after Thanksgiving but Grumpy Pirate sent the artwork out via PM and I just couldn't help myself. Had to do it. :)

I gotta say I really like it. Of course I'm a sucker for Snoopy and his doghouse all decorated for Christmas!

I said that and then I looked at my own sig...I have a countdown til when we leave for family Christmas in CA and it has candy canes and stuff. :rotfl: I just thought 'I'll give Thanksgiving it's time' but I've already been watching Christmas movies and thinking about decorations. I might as well just skip Thanksgiving. Except there's nothing like those leftovers. Mmmm.

My half-sis's name is Michelle and she doesn't like Shelley, either.
And as for Missy, you're right; I do say stuff like "Listen here, Missy!" and because I'm from the South that twang comes out. :rolleyes1

On a sadder note my baby will be 10 months old tomorrow. Sigh. :sad1: He's already taking steps (took seven the other night) and says mama and dada. He's growing up too fast for my liking.
I need to get our Christmas photo taken soon.

I'm here and need to catch up on reading, but I may not do that until tomorrow. I had a little problem early today (understatement...).

I woke up today and when I finally managed to open my eyes, I noticed my right eye felt funny. I closed it again thinking I was just tired, and it hurt like heck. So I got up and went to look in the mirror and the part of my lower eyelid near my tear duct was red and swollen to the size of a raisin! I couldn't even blink without being in pain. I rinsed my eye out, used a cold paper towel, and took Advil and now (how many hours later?) it's finally better. Still a little swollen, but not really bad. I have no clue what happened, although an eyelash finally came out from somewhere in my eye when I was holding the paper towel to my face for almost an hour. :sad2:

So much for Sunday as a day of rest and calm. :rolleyes1
