DH is that you?

Ummm...just because you were right about that, doesn't mean you mind is still there...(meant as a joke)
My mom has been wanting a recipe for this so thanks!Yep, that's the stuff! I'm feeling some better, but the bread is on a timetable so I was baking today whether I felt like it or not.I'm going to shut down the oven after this batch and rest awhile, wash the mini muffin pan and mini loaf pans, and hopefully have the energy to get back in there and do two more batches some time tonight.
Gotta save some energy, though. I promised my WAY LIBERAL friend that I would come over tomorrow and help her move furniture and stuff. They are getting all new windows and have tons of lifting and moving to do to get ready.
Here ya go loco;
Preheat oven to 325*
Add to approx one cup of starter:
1 c oil
3 eggs
1/2 tsp vanilla
1 c milk
1 c sugar
2 c flour
1/2 tsp salt
1 1/2 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp baking soda
2 tsp cinnamon
1 large package INSTANT pudding (any flavor you want...you can get creative)
1 c raisins or chopped nuts if desired (I've used dried cranberries and fresh blueberries, I've also heard of people putting in finely chopped apples, smooshed bananas, etc)
Mix well
Mix together 1/2 c sugar and 1 1/2 tsp cinnamon. Grease pans (2 large loaf pans OR five mini loaf pans) and sprinkle with sugar. Pour in batter, then sprinkle the tops with remaining sugar.
Bake large pans for one hour, or small pans for 40 min.
Slide a knife around edges of pans while still warm, then allow to cool before turning out.
And HEY! Did ya see that I posted a picture of me holding my pistol just to warm your little heart? It's just my hand and the pistol in the pic...the rest was not necessarily DIS friendly and had to be cropped out.

Hello?? It's "Please stand clear of the doors" in Spanish like they say on the monorail.http://www.walmart.com/catalog/catalog.gsp?cat=36266&fromPageCatId=14503
It looks as if they've sold it at one point...good luck and, like Wonderlanne says, be careful of those doors! [or whatever she said, my Spanish is more than lacking]
Hey, another thank-you ad for Sarah Palin from freedoms defense fund --
the photography is especially touching --

Ummm, no. Take it from me, who just baked muffins/sweet bread through dinner time, made nachos for my kids but just had a muffin here and there as they came out myself. Blows up your blood sugar and makes ya feel pretty crummy.![]()
I really need to think of something decent to eat now before I crash and burn big time.

In 1995, the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, and Firearms estimated that the number of firearms available in the US was 223 million.
In 2005 (the most recent year for which data is available), there were 30,694 gun deaths in the U.S:
12,352 homicides
17,002 suicides
789 unintentional shootings, 330 from legal intervention and 221 from undetermined intent.
I'm from German Jews on my dad's side, Polish Jews on my mother's.I hear you on the Holocaust. I'm descended from German Jews, and I'd love to know for sure if any of them were possibly in the camps. That event in history is the one that fascinates me the most, though it is so very sad.
That does sound good. DFIL brought some with him when he came out here in May...or was it March? June? Who cares, it's unimportant.I'm baking the Amish Friendship Bread again. Just finished a batch of chocolate, and now I have some blueberry ones in the oven. Yum yum. Two more batches to bake if I don't burn out and quit...

Oh yeah? Whatcha finding?
Looking at Camera's and ipods. I'm thinking that the Nano 3rd generation plus folio and free shipping at $104.99 would not be bad. I was going to get the 4the 4th generation, but the reviews were not as good.
As for digital cameras, I don't know what to get DD. There seems to be a lot at decent prices, but I'm reading a lot so it's slower. I need something for her that takes decent pictures even when there is movement. I'm not looking for anything extreme, but hers is terrible. Any ideas for a decent camera that is not terribly expensive?
I'm also going to see if I can find a wii. It's not important, but we've all been wanting one. Other than the ipod and camera, I'm just looking to see if anything grabs me for the last couple of presents. We are cutting way back, so any deals are welcome.
I'm a Canon fan. I have an S5 but that would be too expensive. I like their little Powershots. That's what I had before. Took a good picture, I just wanted something a little better.
I have to tell y'all I just scared DD. She was raiding the refrigerator, and I heard her. I just went in and leaned on the side next to the door, but didn't say anything. It was dark except for the light in the frig. As soon as she looked up, she screamed and jumped back. It was too funny, but she's supposed to be in bed so I don't feel bad at all.![]()
Switch mom and dad... make the Polish side Catholic and the German side Protestant and you have my family. Which brings me to my post.I'm from German Jews on my dad's side, Polish Jews on my mother's.
Thanks! It looks like the reviews are good. The best I've found so far is ~$150. Does it sound reasonable?
I may look at yours for me, too. I scrapbook so I get tired of chasing down our camera that is usually in DH's truck.
