Dear God..are some of these people for real? Do they really and truly believe what they are saying? Some don't take all of their tax deductions and think it shameful to not live up to you full potential and pay the government more $$$$. They are "so proud" the bo is living up to being "fiscally responsible" I don't get the math either. How does 3.6% of $350K equal $121? My calculator says $12600.

I guess, I must consider have radical some are. It's still mind boggling to hear how excited they get.....because the government is spending so much money. It's icing on the cake that the $$$$ are coming from business owners and the "rich". They really believe Barry's going to "pay" for all this "stuff"?

**edited to add** I used 3.6% ....should have been 4.6%...at least I think that's the difference between 35% and 39.6%. I used an obamaphile number. I didn't think it sounded right.

This pushes the grand total to $16,256.49.

I'm glad you posted this because I thought I was the only one scratching my head trying to figure out the "fuzzy" math.

Even at the $226,000.00 level, it's an increase of over $10,000. Where in the world does the $121 amount come into play? I guarantee that if this was a Republican tax proposal, there would be plenty of people on the boards dissecting the numbers. So far, it seems like all of the libs has taken that post as gospel and haven't questioned the numbers.

I am viewing myself less and less as a Republican. The party is leaving me as they become more and more liberal. But sadly, the only real voting options are GOP or Dem, and I will NEVER vote for a Dem for a federal office.

I'm finding myself lining up with the libertarian party more and more now.

OK, so I went to go find an Inconvenient Book today for the trip down to my parents house tomorrow on the train. Do you think I could find it? Not until the 3rd store I went to and it happened to be a used copy.

At one store I counted 9 books about Obama. No Ann Coulter, no Bill O'Reilly, no Glenn Beck. NOTHING. Not a single conservative author in the bunch.

So at the third store, I go to buy it and I happened to know the clerk from a few years back. The clerk looks at the book and asks me why I picked this one. What on earth do you say to that? I just mumbled that a friend recommended it and I listen to Glenn all the time. I'm sure I wouldn't have been questioned at all if I had bought one of the zillion Obama books they had there.

And would you like to share what is SUPER awesome about this used book??

Sweet Lord Jesus in heaven, Glenn Beck's War Room Special, Worse Case Scenario is scaring the living bejeezus out of me.

I am shaking.

I think I need to go find a Church, build a panic room and stock it, or just put a gun to my head. Any of those would work at this point. I am watching it now. It's 50 minutes into the show, and I pray that Glenn can talk me off the ledge like he's promised. Wow.

I know, it's scary. But honestly, seeing Glenn do shows like this gives me a large amount of comfort. He's been my rock through these awful political times, and dear God, someone convince the man to run for president in 2012.... I would feel so much safer if I was able to say President Beck everyday. I really would. At least he has a firm grasp on reality and an intelligent head on his shoulders... unlike those starry-eyed liberals in Washington and beyond.

Yep, this about sums up how I feel...Obama was elected in large part due to his rock star status. Kind of like voting in American Idol...not the best way to elect a president.

I also think the math is not right. Doesn't matter to them, I mean I really think they don't care if the numbers add up. I am not surprised at what I am seeing on the budget thread as they just don't care. I think it doesn't effect the bottom line for them so whatever. They don't understand enough to get that it will effect them later.

It's because I'm STARVING!!! I'm on a diet...lost 10 1/2 lbs...the last 4 weeks. BUT, I'M HUNGRY!!! I have 9 1/2 lbs to my goal.

By, gosh darn it...DD's getting married in June. I MUST look good. There are pictures involved that I won't be able to hide in the back of my closet.
