I'm home! Our 2-week trip to Disney was fantastic.

No way I can catch up on all the messages, so I'll just say "hi" and it's good to be back.

I'm debating, I really want to get a second set of holes punched in my ears. It's exactly 6 weeks before surgery, which I think is when you can officially take the earrings out. I know they're going to stick my head in the MRI scanner during surgery so I can't have any metal on my head. But I really want second holes.... what to do??????? Ugh.

since there's the mri and stuff, would you consider that a present to yourself for after the surgery?

My opinion? The Republican party has a wide variety of views amongst its members on things like the environment, abortion, etc. I recognize we can't get a 100% conservative Senator elected in liberal or liberal leaning states. So, we conservatives put up with them. But, my thought is, if you aren't a fiscal conservative, get the heck out. You're not a Republican. In my mind, you have to be a fiscal con to call yourself a Republican. That is the backbone of the whole Republican philosophy.

So my thought is, come primary season, we need to find fiscal cons to run against those three and throw money at them. It's past time to kick those three out.

You nailed it, SD. That's exactly how I feel, too. I'm willing to give what little money I can spare to help rid the GOP of these RINOs and get some real fiscal conservatives in there.

That's a very good idea. I thought about it and took some advice from a few people and I'm going to wait until after surgery. Since piercings are prone to infection, I guess I should hold off. Don't need no new infections to deal with.

I'm trying to determine when I'm going to go into a self-imposed "lockdown" before surgery. I can't afford to have a cold or flu, so a couple weeks beforehand I'm going to have to limit contact with people, avoid crowded places, children are going to have to be a no-no (little germ factories!). I'm debating whether or not I should fly with a mask on or not. I don't want to look like a dork, but I also don't want to get sick.

Thank-you Mr. Man. My head knows NOT to panic but my heart is - well I think- broken.

I am so very sad for my country. For my children, all of our children, who will deal with the ramifications. The high taxes, the inflation, the high interest rates. And IMO if that is all that becomes of this we are really lucky!!!!

The sun will come up tomorrow and my hope does not lie with government but with God. ( I hope you all will excuse me if I got too emotional here - it helps to type it out I think)
