On the stimulus note, it looks like Specter and Collins are lining up to be the Judases and allow this mess of a bill to pass. Specter himself said it's a bad bill, but hey, we gotta do something!

These two RINOs sicken me. If ever there was a time to stick together, this was it. Even McCain isn't behind this, and he loves stabbing conservatives in the back! Yes, you have to do something, but junk spending is not it. Here's hoping to a Republican with some fiscal sense running against them in a primary when they're each up for reelection. McConnell ought to get them both in a room right now and chew them out, IMO. This isn't about being partisan, this is about recognizing the fact that doing something wrong just to do something is both stupid and immoral when you're talking about this kind of money.
Specter's email inbox is supposedly full, but people are suggesting we email Steele at the RNC and tell him we want two people who practice fiscal responsibility running in a primary for the nomination for those two seats come re-election year if they dare to vote for this travesty. Good idea, IMO.
