That's how I am when I'm in WDW. I'll check the news for maybe five minutes on a handful of nights so I'm not totally misinformed if something huge happens, but otherwise... If it's not something big, I don't want to know about it when I'm in WDW. At WL, they put copies of USA Today under the door each day; I just save them all and read them when I get back home.

Seem like all is not well on the other side of the isle. Looks like the blue dog Democrats are getting a little restless with the party leadership:

I respect the Blue Dogs when they stick to their principles. I certainly still don't agree with them on everything, but I respect them and generally like them. I wouldn't vote for them, but I do like them.

What I find hypocritical about all of this "We can't have two sets of standards!" is that he did have two sets of standards. It was okay for Geithner, so regardless of Daschle and others, you were still saying it was okay for him because he was oh so super smart. That smacks of hypocrisy. I don't see how people can't see it. I can understand people not wanting to admit they see it's hypocritical, but it amazes me some think it actually is not hypocritical.

Ugh! I may not be posting for awhile - DD just threw up, and I'm sure we're going to be next. Blah, I hate the throw up flu. It usually doesn't hit us.

Oh, and I'm the worst mom ever when it comes to throw up. I've actually run from the kids before. Yup, bad mom. I can handle any other type of illness and nurture through it - but not this. I get sick just seeing a cat or dog throw up, much less a kid.

But don't worry, karma plays out - I always catch it! So, anyone want to do a countdown with me?

I think my son's fourth grade teacher wants a snow day really really bad. She told the class to wear their pajamas inside out and to dump a glass of ice water in the toilet.

Amazing food? What amazing food? I don't recall any amazing food when I worked there. I recall having to purchase my own groceries and guard my cheese sticks in the fridge - I had a roommate stealing food.

Are you talking about the cast members dining area - such as Take 5 at DHS?

I will admit that Disney did have decent dining options backstage at the parks for the CM's at pretty cheap prices. Of course, Disney does realize that they don't pay their CM's enough money to afford the food served onstage.

Mmmmmm Tonga Toast (in my best Homer Simpson voice). You really have no idea just exactly how jealous I am right now do you . In fact I've spent the last 2 nights over at the hotels for $1 thread on the budget board just trying to get a room at the poly for the end of our May/June trip. DD loves the Poly but I just can't bring myself to pay $400+ a night, we used to stay there fairly often when I could get a room for around $235 with a good discount, now those days are gone and so is the Poly for now .

OMG, barfing is why I have no desire to have children. I can't handle, even when dogs and cats barf.

For most people, it's different with your kids. I'm one of those. If my kids puke, I'm SuperWoman. I hold back hair, I wipe mouths, I rub backs, I can clean it off floors or faces or clothes, I have even caught it in my hands. But if my husband throws up, he is on his own, jack. I gag horribly if the dog or cats puke and really can't handle cleaning it.

I was like that with poop, too. My own babies' diapers never bothered me, but other people's babies have gross poop.

Do they have the 7 for 4 deal available during your target trip times? That would cut the price almost in half, if they have it. Hope it works out for you!

Poop, puke, pus, blood...none of that bothers me. I guess that's why I'm trying to get into school for nursing.
The only thing that does bother me is saliva. Yes, saliva. I nearly gag when someone hocks a loogie and swallows it rather than spitting it out.
