Conservative Thread: U.S. Steele - Back In Business

Small World! I graduated from Spring High myself (quite a few years ago :rolleyes1 Back when the blimp base was still across the freeway)! It doesn't look like the same school anymore it's grown so much.
I like the Woodlands area, but don't like the I-45 traffic much

Small world indeed (hear the music?)

I graduated SHS in 1986 and remember the blimp base well (grew up in North Hills subdivision). Almost got to ride in the blimp. I have to admit though, I never understood why we had a blimp base there......what with the Astrodome and all.......not much point in flying over the dome after all.

Well met indeed.

I-45 traffic is ridiculous....almost as bad as 290 ;) :rotfl2:

I noticed on the "Do you believe in God thread", those who proudly say "no" are outspoken liberals. What a surprising trend....not!;)

Hi!

Are you the 67th Rebelmom? Or were you born in 67? If the latter, then me too! [and we have a few more 67'ers on this thread - that was a great year]

A great year indeed, I was born!;) LOL. I was actually a regular on the conservative thread before the election, but it took me awhile to be able to post again after that travesty.

Hiya! I remember you. :)

Fear not, we have "them" surrounded now.

Well, I thought your user name looked familiar - welcome back! Or, I guess you, as the vet, should welcome me - I started posting right when Sarah came on board....

The travesty is getting travesti-er and travesti-er but these folks have kept me laughing through it all.

I'm usually laughing at them or shaking my head. There are plenty of Ron White phrases that fit them nicely - that's all I'll say about that.;) :lmao:

Yes 290 is terrible also. It's a good thing I don't have to drive into town every day. I couldn't handle that :scared1:
Since you owned up to it, I guess I can admit that I graduated in 1980 (now I feel old)

You know that certain libs are really nervous when they won't post on any of the threads discussing Obama and defend his actions, but instead attempt a lame Bush bashing thread to try and distract the spotlight from Obama.

Yeah, back then there was SHS North and SHS South (which became Westfield). I remember when they were combined together. The band had like 600+ members!

Good times.

ElizK - Ignore is your friend. ;) Don't take the bait!

:headache: wow... that's just so tempting, though!!! I will take your advice, though. And... I am calling it a day. Can't be tempted if I'm asleep, right!

:lmao: So agree, Mr. Man. It is hilarious how the "whinny" group seems to lose their patina of superiority when they misspell the important words! Must have something to do with that equine background.

Funny how they didn't mention that half of the Obama administration and a few key Dems broke the law by not paying their taxes. Seems they consider themselves above the law, no?

Now, you know how easy it is to overlook $250K of income, like poor Tommy!

Hi guys. Where's all the chatties tonight? I see you guys have been busy and I'll never catch up. Again.

DH brought home a movie and as usual, I didn't want to watch it because he has such bad taste in entertainment. :rotfl:
He brought home Fireproof. Okay, I admit it. I sniffled; it was a good movie.

It was. I rented it last weekend and really, really liked it. It was obviously an independant film with not the best actors but the story itself, and the message behind it, was wonderful. Very uplifting and moving. I cried like a baby. Two thumbs up from me :thumbsup2 :thumbsup2

LOL. And these are the same people who told us for the past eight years that we couldn't mention Clinton, or his mistakes, because he was no longer in office. Hypocrites. :rotfl2:
