Thanks guys. Funny thing, I was just having a dream where he came into our room - threw toys everywhere - then threw up all over everything.

I wake up to him standing in our room telling us he just threw up - then he proceeded to do so, all over our room.

At least there were no toys. :headache:

Poor kid. And poor DH. Again, I ran like the dickens.....I'm the mom who runs from pukey kids  pssst, DH isn't laughing :duck:

Hence the reason I do not and will not have children.

Hey breez- I learned a neat trick from CSI ;) . Stick some Vicks Vapo Rub up your nose, it helps kill the smell :thumbsup2 That's usually what puts most people over the edge.

Hey! The regular smilies are back!!!! :yay:

My fav: :scared1:

We were clear for a number of days, so I wonder if he caught this from school. Blah.

Maybe, it's also tough to tell the difference between the stomach bug and food poisoning. I think food poisoning is worse.

My pediatrician was telling me about the rotavirus vaccine, I think once DD is in school she'll be getting that one. :thumbsup2

Give your DS

I need to go

Speaking of shopping carts- they are one of the germiest places ever. Kids can pick up stuff from there, too.

I saw some kid throw up on the handle one day.
The mother was like this :rolleyes1 wiping it off with a baby wipe. Also all those juicy poultry packages and bloody meats people touch, yuk! :scared:

Sorry to gross ya'all out this AM.

That'll teach the lurkers :rotfl:

I haven't heard of that vaccine. Sounds promising though.

Oh, and um....I'll give him a hug later, but thanks for the thought

Remember :teacher: breezy runs from pukey kids, and definately doesn't hug them til they're "all clear" for 48 hrs..

Have fun shopping!

Our store offers clorox wipes and I wipe the cart down like there's no tomorrow. I also wear gloves. And sunglasses too - germs can get in eyes doncha know. Then I use "dry" soap after I'm all done.

Yes, I'm a germ freak :rotfl:

I love it. Obama was asked "Do you have a ball park figure how much this will cost? 1 trillion? 1.5 trillion?". Obama said he didn't know.

In other news...

A young college student was practically begging Obama to do something about the fact that he's been working at McDonalds for 4 years and couldn't find another job. Really? In 4 years???

i heard a recap of that on the radio. first he swooned (too much...kinda embarrassing). then bho responded by being patronizing him.

i think those people were plants.

WOOHOO! I'm posting two days in a row. To anyone I didn't meet last night.
Hello and Good Morning!

Hey Breezy! Good luck. That bug, well actually bugs that are going around are horrible. My DD was just home for a week and a half. She had a high fever, and didn't hold anything down for 7 days. She was in the hospital for a severe Kidney infection, and also for ureteral re-implantation surgery in the past. I swear this was worse. This was the worse bug I have ever had to deal with.

:rotfl2: :lmao: I'm with you girlfriend.

In other news:

Could it be? :) Could it really happen? :yay: Could NJ possibly elect a Republican Governor? :hyper:

popcorn::

Though New Jersey voters may not know much about him former U.S. Attorney Christopher Christie, a Republican challenger, leads Gov. Jon Corzine by six percentage points in this year's governor's race, according to a Quinnipiac University poll released today.

Christie's 44-to-38 percent lead reverses a 42-36 percent edge Corzine had in a Nov. 19 Quinnipiac poll.

NJ Gov. Jon Corzine and former U.S. Attorney Chris Christie
"Republican Christopher Christie has broken out of the gate as a strong challenger to Gov. Jon Corzine. In less than four months, he has come from trailing the governor by six points to leading him by six points -- a 12-point shift," said Clay F. Richards, assistant director of the Quinnipiac University Polling Institute.

"Corzine suddenly has become the underdog in this race and history will surely repeat itself in New Jersey in 2009," Clay said. "The big question is whether Corzine will come back like Democratic Gov. Brendan Byrne did in 1977 or go down to defeat like Jim Florio in 1993."

In the latest survey, Democrats support Corzine 72 percent to 10 percent, while Christie leads 86 percent to 7 percent among Republicans and 49 percent to 24 percent among independent voters.

I saw him in a interview. I really like him. His looks remind me a little of Sal "Big *****" Bonpensiero & Fred Flinstone :goodvibes

And he has better hair than Corzine! :thumbsup2
