conservative bathing suits for dd?

I dunno, I've been looking for a suit that covered the cellulite on my thighs and my granny bingo arms. Viola! Problem solved!

Back on topic :goodvibes ...

Costco has nice one-piece Speedos, very reasonably-priced too. Lands End has a nice selection.

For me, if I could find someone now who really knew what they were doing, I'd get custom-made swimsuits (which I've done in the past). Barring custom-made, MiracleSuits are nice. I live in Virginia, but actually I ordered my last (MiracleSuit)swimsuit from Larraine's in Florida. They have a nice selection and great customer service. (Let's put it this way...I'm too small for Lane Bryant, too big for LandsEnd.)

agnes!
PS - Yeah, wholesomewear sure spiced it up with that hot pink...oooooooo, baby. Plus, I'm a fairly conservative person in my lifestyle choices, but IMO that whole Duggar family/wholesome swimwear ethos is slightly strange. It's as if they want everyone to forget how that quiverfull got here in the first place.

I guess great minds think alike--when I saw the topic, I thought of the Duggar famiy, too! I'm hoping you're thinking more "conventional" conservative, though.

We're big Lands End fans in this house-- my DD10 loves their tankinis. 1-piece coverage but 2-piece ease. Plus, it's a great place to get "matching" suits--my DDs are 8 years apart in age, so it's a thrill when they can match, unlike when I was growing up, my sister and I were 20 months apart--not such a thrill!

Another Land's End lover here. I usually buy from overstocks, and have gotten them for $10. But probably not this time of year :(

My DD had a Land's End tank that she wore EVERY day to summer camp (they swam every day). And let me tell you, that child was FILTHY when we picked her up. I washed it every night, and at the end of the summer, the only thing that showed it wasn't new was the blue paint splot she had gotten on it. I never bought her a suit from anywhere else until this year (she is too big for the girls sizes, and too small for the womens).
