Hey...I have SEVERE allergies to HORSES....Strange Right?

Want to take my DD to Conservation Station but, I need to make sure they Do not have Horses there.... Does anyone know??/

Thanks For the help :Pinkbounc

I have been there several times and I have to say I am drawing a blank on horses - I remember goats (lots of goats), but I don't remember what else. However, you can easily avoid the outside area with the animals - most of the things are inside. (Of course, I don't know if simply being in the area bothers your allergy)

We were just there in October, no horses were there when we were. Lamas, pigs (I think), and goats were there. Watch out for one named Max, which is also my sons name, he (the goat) likes to eat paper and has eaten money in the past.

However the petting area did bother my allergies. I carry benadryl, and needed to take some, and borrowed one of my sons Zertec's that night.

Not that strange, although not alergic, I am terrified of horses!
As HaleyB said, I just remember lamas and goats. In particular shorts eating goats :teeth: !

I have seen a donkey or mule there before. It is near the barn, not in the petting area but directly next to it.

Just there Friday, they have goats, mule, sheep, pig, talking trash can, but you can stand on the outside of the fence and still see in very well. The best stuff is inside, cool bugs and Rafiki and Stanley were there.

Mule?/Donkey?/*******?/ never knew what the difference was. Anyway there are 2 or 3 of whatever they are at Conservation Station in the petting zoo, but NO horses.

Are you sure your allergies are strictly limited to horses? My DS is also highly allergic to horses. But he also seems to be affected by any type of petting zoo. We plan to skip this on our visit.

Don't forget there are horses on MK's Main Street pulling the trolleys. You can probably avoid them, but just something to watch out for if you have severe allergies.

The MK was the only place I remember ever seeing a horse (and not at all on our Sept. trip) . AK might have those African Pygmy Horses but I doubt you could come in contact with them.

A mule is the offspring of a male donkey and a female horse.

A ******* is somebody who screams "You're spoiling my vacation!" to a tired, crying 5-year old at 5 pm in the standby line for Space Mountain. :rotfl:
