I still find this rather intriguing...
Some people will buy vouchers to split meals, right? But if you can't get seconds for the same price, how is that a deal? How different is it from buying everything in the voucher and splitting? You are only saving a couple of bucks anyway!
Being forced to order only the expensive items to pay for the value of the voucher is very limiting. Regardless of taste preferences, if you want to come out even, you have to get whatever is more costly.
Then many "appreciative customers" leave a tip over and beyond what the waiter will get. Where in the world did you save the money you were bragging about saving?
