I've been doing some price comparing, etc. and have looked at these Connections vouchers a few times. I know NancyIL has used them or has some and likes them...am I gonna feel like an odd man out if I decided to go with this???? I mean, I'm assuming they are fairly easy to use - does anyone else do these and Nancy...can you give me some of your opinions of them or will this be a first time using them for you?????

I guess I'd need to see what the itinerary is first of course and then decide if I think people will eat with me at the places that I would use them or if I'd end up eating meals alone (doubtful but wanted to think about it).

It looks like the places that I'd be more likely to use them is Beaches and Cream for dinner, Pecos Bills or Cosmic Ray's in MK, Liberty Inn in EPCOT, 50's Prime Time for lunch and then possibly Cape May Cafe for breakfast on the day I leave.

Of course I know I wouldn't have to eat at these places but I got on Deb's site and priced out with the prices that are there right now (that I know can be not so current) and these were the places that I'd be likely to eat that would be the best deal if I purchased the vouchers.

So any thoughts or ideas are very welcomed!!!

I love Connections vouchers. B&C is definately the best use of them and they are great to split. The breakfast vouchers will save you a few bucks, primarily because they include beverage, tax and tip.

Mary has a great link at Mousesavers for Connections meal vouchers.

I will be bringing quite a few of the vouchers with me when my family goes in September. There will be 8 of us and we are staying at the BWV. By having a couple of meals at B&C, we will be saving lots of money.

When I go in January with my husband we are going to get a few of the Vacation Kingdom Lunch Vouchers. We plan on splitting a few meals at some of the more expensive countries that we have been wanting to try. $29.50 for late lunch (early dinner for us) is a good price (for Le Cellier and Alfredo di Roma Ristorante)

I will probably bring a voucher or 2 with me in December. Not as good a value with one person (and not splitting), but I can always get a caeser salad to go and put it on ice in my room.

If you have any other questions Chris, please let me know. :)

Hi Chris!

I used the Connections vouchers for the first time on my trip in June with Jared. Beaches and Cream was DEFINITELY the best value! Jared got a double bacon cheeseburger and fries ($8.99), and a soda ($1.99). I got a veggie burger and fries ($6.99), and a soda ($1.99). Then the waitress encouraged us both to get The Kitchen Sink! So we did!! These desserts cost $21.99 each! So all together our meal came to about $70, for which I only paid the $22 for the 2 Q&C vouchers!!

We also used them at Toy Story Pizza Planet at AK. Didn't save a whole lot there, but every little bit helps! We used them at Boma at AKL and did pretty good. Jared used one at Cosmic Ray's at MK and saved some more. I wasn't as hungry that night, so just paid for the little bit I wanted to eat.

We used the Breakfast vouchers at 1900 Park Fare at GF, and shared a Vacation Kingdom lunch one at Rainforest Cafe at AK.

I'm going for a 3 night trip with a friend over Labor Day, and then with Kevin in December for DIS Con. I will DEFINITELY be bringing some vouchers!!!

I used the Quick and Casual ($11) vouchers in November and April. I used them at Beaches and Cream 3 times - each time sharing with someone - and we still couldn't finish everything! They were a good value at Tangierine Cafe in Morocco, too. I intended to use one at Pecos Bill's (LOVE the chicken wrap) - but forgot to bring it with me that day. I used the breakfast vouchers for 1900 Park Fare at the GF and saved a little money.

Wowzers! I had no idea about any of this. Sounds neat tough. :D I'll read up on it when I have more time. :D Thanks for all the info. and for the link to Mousesavers.com.

What about the membership fee? No one's mentioned that.

There is a membership fee and I guess if you are going to eat at almost all of the places it's worth it....

Okay..one more question - I don't get the sharing idea. Would this be like if someone wanted a burger and another person wanted a salad (the side one) and then you get the dessert that two people share and then one drink with the voucher and then pay for another drink???? I just don't get the sharing idea - can someone help me with this.....

I'm thinking that maybe I could split the cost of the membership like with KimRaye and we could share the vouchers????? I just am not sure.

At Beaches and Cream, they split the food for us. We ordered a milkshake - which was large enough to put in two glasses. Then we each got 1/2 a double cheeseburger with fries, half a salad (or other side), and two spoons in the sundae.

Many people joined Connections for 30 days for $1, ordered their vouchers and WDW tickets (they have good prices on tickets), then cancelled. If you don't cancel within 30 days, the membership cost is $79.95 for the year. I joined for 30 days last fall and used all my vouchers in November. I was able to buy others' unused vouchers 2 more times. I mentioned elsewhere that I'll be looking for sharing buddies when I use my vouchers. :D

Thanks Nancy!!!!! This has been very helpful on possibly making a decision...I was a little leary about the $1 trial and then ordering all my stuff and then cancelling. It's just the way I am but if it has and can be done...then what the hey!!!!!

Another question, please tolerate me

No where through the link did I see anything about actually enrolling, even if for just a month. I did see the $80 fee and, therefore my previous question.

Chris, I'll split the buck with ya! LOL And, the meals & voucher costs!! ;) No problem there! :p

I actually kept my membership. With the number of times I am going to Disney this year and next, it was worth the money. I have saved much more than that through the vouchers and park tickets.

If I was just going once, I would have had no problem ordering what I needed and cancelling. That's why it is a trial offer. Gotta love it!
