connections voucher limit

I was just browsing at the connections web site and I noticed the following regarding the vouchers:
Purchases limited to 40 certificates per member family per membership year. Applicable taxes and gratuities are included.

Has that been there all along and I just didn't pay any attention to it (or forgot about it)--or, is this new?

It looks like it is 40 certificates per type ( ie 40 Q&C, 40 Vacation Lunch, 40 Breakfast et'c.)

Tlhe way it has been posted here and how I take their wording is it is 40 vouchers per specific item. I can get 40 for Outback, 40 for B&N or 40 for Q&C. I really hope they haven't changed it to 40 total. If that is the case, I'll ask for a refund. Anyone else know for sure?

Whoops! I should have been more specific--the 40 per item applies to the Disney World vouchers only... I did a check on that by putting 40 of each type of WDW voucher into my shopping cart. (I was able to add 40 of each into shopping cart).

The gift certficates have a limit of 15 for merchandise and 10 for resturants --ie Outback has a limit of 10. (I know that for certain because I have maxed out most of my restuarants already . B&N would have a max of 15.

Here's what it says pertaining to the gift certificates:

This is an exclusive offer of Connections. In order to save, certificates/Gift Cards must be purchased through Connections. Credits are not available for certificates/GiftCards purchased through participating retailers. Merchandise certificates/GiftCards are limited to 15 per retailer per member family per membership year and limited to 10 certificates/GiftCards per restaurant per member family each membership year. You must be an active member of Connections at the time your credit is processed. Your credit will be made to the credit card used to purchase certificates/gift cards, and it will appear on your next 1-2 billing statements.

I just called Connections to verify the limit of 40. A very courteous, helpful cs rep told me it was 40 of each type of voucher.

A new limit has been imposed to help prevent people from re-selling them on e-bay. The limits on Disney Dining vouchers is now 40 per type per family per year. I called today for clarification.
