Connections Problem!

Well, it finally happened. I have a problem with Connections. I have been lucky up until now.

On Sept 15 I ordered a 4 day hopper pass and breakfast voucher. Didn't receive it after 5 days and called to inquire. They told me that they now use regular mail and that it was usually 7-10 days. That it was mailed on the 16th.

After 11 days, I called back. Was told that it was mailed on the 16th and that they had to do some research as the the status of this hopper and the mail. This was a Friday and she said it was to be investigated on Monday and it usually takes 24 hours and they will call me.

Well, on Wednesday, 48 hours later, I called back...talked to someone who told me that it was investigated and that they will be calling me in a few days. I asked him what the status was and what they will do...his exact words were "They will remail them since it was their fault " and to call back on October 6 if I have not heard anything from them.

Called today...this is where it gets bad. Explained what the situation was--now, she treated me like I was stupid and didn;t know what I was talking about "Investigate?" Then the hold thing came on....I was on hold 20 minutes....then she came back....finally a supervisor came on.

She first told me that they didn't finish investigating yet...then when I told her that last week they told me they were done, then she told me they were at my post office.....I asked her how they were sent and she said regular mail...so then I asked her how she knew they were at the post office...then she went back to the story that they were not done investigating yet...

Anyway, she finally told me that I needed to call my post office because they needed more time to investigate!

Does anyone have any suggestions as to how to get a phone number to call to actually talk to someone in authority?

I remember a while ago someone had a number of a supervisor.

I know----I am done with Connections when this is over with.

Whatever you do, don't call the number listed on the front of your membership card. You will receive nothing but a runaround. They lost one of my shipments and I called that number 5 times in one month (every time I called I was told someone would investigate and call me back within 48 hours - never once received a return call.)

The number to call that is listed on their website contact page is 1-877-503-4052. I have emailed them from that contact page and received a reply within 24 hours. My problem was then taken care of in less than 1 week.

Hope everything works out for you. I have had no problems since.

It looks like you tried to resolve the problem with connections. On your next phone call (if you elect to make another phone), tell them that you have given them a chance to solve the problem of failure to deliver the merchandise and if they don't give you a remedy (like sending the stuff via overnight delivery), you will immediately dispute the charge with your credit card company.

Why wait? That's what's great about credit cards. You gave them ample time..dispute the charge.
By the way..they have extended their time of items arriving since the begining of September. When you order on line, they show the new time. Mine still came within a few days, ups, but that's what the web site says now.

I see that my GM card is now offering certificates for the first month free and $9.95 each month after. I guess everyone is getting on the Connections bandwagon.
 
I totally agree here, they blew it, they had their opportunity to fix the problem, they didn't, so you are more than justified in contacting your credit card company!! Just MHO of course!
 
When I received my connection vouchers by US mail this week, at first glance I thought the envelope was junk mail of some sort. They were in a white envelope with no return name on it, only a PO box # in Omaha, Nebraska. I was surprised to not see "Connections" or any other name on the envelope.
 
I too am having the worst time with Connections.....Just found a vacation voucher in our lugguge we had left over, now I'm half afraid to return it for a credit, which we may never receive. Has anyone had to return any recently?
 
I have been ordering vouchers and tickets from Connections and never had any problem before but just this past Friday I got a shipment of 2 4-day park hopper Plus tickets and 2 adult VKV, 2 child VKL and 1 child Breakfast vouchers that I never ordered. I will probably keep the adult VKL voucher but I am scared that my credit card will never be credited. I am not sure if I want to send it back or sell it on Ebay or even Disboards. Can someone please tell me if they have ever been credited after returning it to connections. I have a friend that is willing to buy on of the 4-day tickets. I really hate to send it back and still have to pay for it.
