Connections charged $69 renewal fee on a cancelled account!

Looked at my bank statement yesterday. I had a charge on it for $69 from Connections!

I called my bank and then I called Connections. I found out they charged me a membership fee for an account that I cancelled last year. It was mysteriously reactivated on July 17th 2002.

Connections said they would remove the charge immediately. It is a good thing I double checked my bank statement. I do not even use that check card anymore.

Connections charged my Texaco account $79. I never signed up, asked for it, and Texaco never sent me anything to even join threw them. I call and it was removed very promt. But of all accounts: My Texaco gas card? Strange!!

If you do a search you will find out that Connections does this alot. I am wondering if they do it all the time though as i just cancelled. Watch and see, I guess!
