Please bear with me, as I am techno-stupid (my tracfone lives in the glove box of my vehicle
that's as techie as I get) and really don't understand what a LOT of this is about. I just hope my question/confusion makes sense...
We are going to Disney in October and this FP+ stuff has my panties in a bunch. I don't have a smart ANYTHING and really have no desire to get one. However, I am concerned about connecting to DME while in the parks, to change FP+ "on the fly." SO would a Kindle Fire HD with 16GB and a 7" screen allow me to do this? The picture in the Staples flyer looks like it uses apps. $149 is a bit much to swallow for this, especially if I could do it via laptop from my hotel room. Is it really necessary to have this kind of access for this kind of thing? What other benefits are there to being able to connect to Disney while in the parks?
(And I guess this is another beef I have with FP+. In addition to limiting me to 3 FPs in one park per day, with tiering, I now have to be at least somewhat tech savvy to book those FP+ reservations, and have to be a LOT tech-savvy AND spend $$$ on electronic toys to use it to its fullest. How is that "FAIR"? Oh, wait, we've already determined that FP+ isn't about fairness )
