Connecting rooms or adjoining rooms????

What is the difference and does anyone know where they are located at POFQ? We are taking my dad next summer for his 75th birthday and he and my dh will be sharing a room and the girls and I will be in another room. Just wondering what we should request??

Adjoining rooms are simply located next to one another. Connecting rooms have a connecting door between them. All connecting rooms are adjoining, but not all adjoining rooms connect.

I would imagine that all areas in POFQ have some connecting rooms, as all Disney resorts seem to offer them.
