But that's unimportant I guess. I wish that the Rangers would settle this one way or the other! I don't even watch much baseball any more but I'm hopeful for the many fans here.

I'm in love with Mark Teixeira myself......whatta man. I'd massage that hamstring any day. Well, if I wasn't married that is. And as big a Yanks fan as I am, I have to disagree about A-Rod. He is NOT cute. The only thing he has going for him are his eyes.

O/T - my son (9) was watching the game last night and he yells out "Dad, the pitcher is Puerto Rican like us"! So my husband asked what made him think that and DS pointed out the Texas flag on the sleeve. We thought it was funny and had to explain that it wasn't the Puerto Rican flag.

I can't understand why everyone hates the Yankees payroll so much. Is it jealousy that our organization has the $$ to spend on top-notch players? Isn't that the name of the game? You pack the stadium by bringing in players that the fans want to see. That's how you get the money.

And where does everyone get off calling the players obnoxious? The fans, yes, we're an obnoxious bunch (but that comes with being fans of WINNERS), but how are the players obnoxious?

No, being obnoxious does not come from being a winner. It comes from being rude. Tuesday Night Derek Holland and Tommy Hunter were flipped off by a fan for approximately 15 minutes straight while they were in the bullpen. That is not how a winner acts.


The Rangers were bankrupt at the beginning of the season, we have money now, but the team that we have now comes from raw talent within and a few well thought out trades. People like to root for winners that come from talent and hard work, not just by buying all the best players...makes perfect sense.

I'm not jealous of the Yankees. How can you call NY fans being rude to Texas players and fans jealousy? Yankee fans were throwing beers and other things at Ranger fans. I'm sorry, but that is just plain rude and bad sportsmanship, that is why people don't like the Yankees and their fans.

I went to over 20 Ranger games this season and spent next to many fans of other teams, we were never rude to them, winning or losing.

Please explain how you can excuse rude behavior?

I did take DS to meet the Rangers plane at DFW last night. It was great - talk about amazing atmosphere
