Plus, that would be the 3rd year in a row the Phillies made it. I'm still mad at them for beating the Brewers a couple years ago. OK maybe not really...I'm just glad that when we were in the playoffs we actually won a game! The NL Central seems to bow out quietly from the playoffs. It's the NL Central's only win in the last couple years.

Still wondering why you think being an obnoxious fan is a sign of a winner? Flipping off Ranger pitchers in the bullpen is just total lack of class and bad sportsmanship. During the game Tuesday night I heard on the tv, "Derek Holland you suck". I've been to over 20 Ranger games this year and other than the obvious booing of the hated A-Rod there was no booing of players and I heard no one yelling things like that.

....I, an obvious Yankees fan, have a question. I understand how Texas Rangers fans would be angry/annoyed/ po'ed, whatever at A-Rod. He 'left' the team AND his past involvement with steroids while playing for the Rangers would certainly make any Texas fan mad at him. What I don't get is the animosity and booing towards Tex? If you will recall, he was TRADED to the Atlanta Braves mid-season. Since then, he was traded to the Angels, and then finally signed [off-season] with the Yankees? Am I missing something?

Lol...I said I wasn't going to go there again...but the cheater comment wasn't even about A-rod...are you not paying attention to the game? Swisher got hit and the umpire called it a wild pitch, but it obviously hit the batter...Swisher went down in pain, but pretended that he didn't get hit in order to let A-Rod score. That was where the cheater comment came from.

And for the record I don't boo Tex. I love the Texiera trade, it got us Feliz and Elvis!!
