I just cancelled our Christmas trip from Dec 2-Jan 10. We had a standard Studio from Dec 2-25 (or so) and a garden view from 25-1 (or so) and then back to a standard. She said I was gonna make some people very happy lol! So sad to cancel our first trip 'home' (we stayed at SSR last year) but we have a baby due Dec 29

Sorry your trip did not work out, but what a great reason to miss a trip!

We are waitlisted for that room type during that time period, but sadly, I don't think we won the room lottery today. Boo!

We had a similar situation 2 years ago - booked BLT for the first christmas week, including NYE. Then we found out I was pregnant and due on christmas, so someone got a std view studio at BLT for the busiest week of the year on 7 months notice.

Congratulations on your cancelled trip!! (That makes it sound positive, right?) I am sure you made SEVERAL people on the WL happy - that was one long trip. As soon as you see your little one, you'll quickly forget the vacation. Congrats on the baby.

Yeah we like to go for that long to relax Its OK though because we'll be taking a 4mo old on a cruise next year

Thanks The cruise will be interesting with such a small baby! But we'll still have fun, we always do
