Congestion at Splash

We probably all have experienced this -- the area around Splash Mountain is so congested you can't walk or barely move.
There has to be a way Disney could improve the foot traffic flow.
What would you suggest if someone posed that issue to you?
One thing, if they had the FP machines for Splash over by Pecos Bills, near the McD fry cart. And maybe stick the BTMR FP machine near there too.

There is a bypass route from the Splash Mountain area, I think it goes as far as Pecos Bill's, a boardwalk that runs along the water edge.

They moved the entrance, it used to be next to the big drop. I always use the lower walkway that seashorecm mentioned.

From what I understand they are going to be installing traffic signals.....

The water walk pathway helps. But there is still a major foot traffic problem.
