Ok, in two weeks I will be going to Disneyworld for the first time. We are attending the MNSSHP. I have heard that the usual stage show -Cinderella Surprise was replaced by Cinderellabration fo rthe 50th, but I have also heard that the Surprise show is the one performed at the MNSSHP not Cinderellabration. Can anyone confirm whih show will take place. Also, does anyone know what characters can be seen at the MNSSHp that will be available for autographs?

When I was at MNSSHP party two years ago, I don't remember any Cinderella show at night. But we had small children and weren't there too late.

The Pooh characters have a meet and greet where you can get photos (not sure about autographs because we didn't get them) in Fantasyland - they are in Halloween costumes too which is cute.

There was the Surprise Celebration Show last year at MNSSHP, but this year it remains to be seen! This weekend starts the beginning of MNSSHP, so I will soon eagerly start checking trip reports! As for the autographs, the characters at MNSSHP are out and about in great variety and numbers! It changes each year, and this year no one knows yet, but I can tell you who was out last year!

In 2004, In between the Surprise show, there would be characters in front of the Castle - we saw Frollo, Maleficent, Cruella, Radcliffe, Jafar, and Big Bad Wolf, maybe a couple of others. Near the entrance by City Hall, we saw Scrooge, Daisy, Darkwing Duck, and Thumper! By Exposition Hall (also near the entrance) were the Pooh characters - Pooh, Eeyore, Tigger, and Piglet. The characters rotate in and out throughout the evening, but aren't out close to the parade times.

By the Fastpass machines to Big Thunder was Goofy dressed as a (I think) a white Cowboy. Aladdin and Jasmine, and Terk too were in Adventureland.

In Tomorrowland by the Carousel of Progress, we saw Chip, Dale, Pluto, and Stitch. Sora, Goofy, and Donald (Kingdom Hearts video game outfits) were inside the entrance to TimeKeeper, but not sure if Sora will be back anytime soon. The dwarves, Snow White, and the Queen were out near the area that is now Pooh's Playful Spot. The dwarves were not signing autographs, though. Behind the castle, we met Goliath the Gargoyle, a very rare character but does not do autographs. Fairy Godmother and the mice Suzy and Perla were near Ariel's Grotto.

Inside the ToonTown Hall of Fame, we saw Cinderella and her Prince, and heard that Aurora and her prince were there, too. Outside the building, we saw Jojo and Goliath, since they were pretty new at the time. Donald was by his boat, and Mickey himself was near the Judges Tent. Minnie was in the gazebo by Minnie's House. On the path from ToonTown to Tomorrowland (follows the train tracks) were Alice in Wonderland characters - Alice, both Tweedles, Mad Hatter, White Rabbit, Queen of Hearts, and Walrus!

By the new stroller area near It's a Small World, we saw Mulan and Mushu, and also (I think) Quasimodo and Esmeralda. They were rotating in pairs, so we didn't see all four at once.

Whew! I may have missed a few characters here and there, and my experiences were from two parties (Oct 29 and 31, 2004) and each party could have some small variations in which characters are out. The 2005 parties will obviously be different than the 2004, but I would bet many of the same characters will be out and about, especially the villianous ones!

Havea great time!!! I am going in the end of October - can't wait! The parties are alot of fun!!! :teeth:

I doubt it will be Cinderella's Surprise celebration. The stage is set up for Cinderellabration.

That's true. With the stage set up for Cinderellabration, there's not enough room to do Cinderella's Surprise Celebration. They need a LOT of room for that show- those gifts are HUGE!! And there are a lot more characters in the show then in Cinderellabration.

Thanks so much for the character location information. We are going on the 16th with a definite focus on characters, so this will be helpful.
