On the Disney site it states that you can have up to 5 people in a standard room at AKL.......up to 6 people in a standard room at WL. When I try to book for AKL it states I would have a deluxe or savannah view room. So am I getting the only room type that 5 people can occupy, or am I getting bumped up because of availibility issues? Same thing at WL........I would be in a deluxe room. Can I get a standard room at these places with 5 people?

A standard room at AKL has beds for four people, and no daybed or foldout couch, so they sleep four people.

Max. occupancy for WL and AKL standard (meaning not deluxe) is 4 plus one under three.

The deluxe room is bigger and thus there is room for a daybed meaning you can sleep five. So with five people your only option, at the AKL, is a deluxe room. Not sure about WL

The deluxe rooms at the WL used to be called the Junior Suites, and yes, I believe you can have five in them. But......they are a lot more expensive then regular rooms.
