I just called MS to make ressies for 7 day cruise 4/17/04. MS agent told me that they were completely sold out. :(
I have since checked DCL on line, All Seasons and Dreams Unlimited all have availablity in all Cat's.

Does DVC only have a certian number of rooms?

Try again and talk to someone else! Tell MS that you know there are cabins available. Were they just sold out in the category of cabin you were requesting? Anyway, let us know what they say!

If so it might be possible that DVC is only allocated a certain amount of cabins at that prime time. Since DVS'ers could start booking that back in May it might be that all on one certain catagory is full. You could always rent your points and pay cash for the week I suppose. I would call DVC again and enquire why there is availablity on other sites.

When I made my DVC reservation, I actually mentioned a stateroom number that showed as being available on Expedia. The DVC CM looked it up and got me that specific stateroom.

When you checked other sites, did you put in the same number of children with their ages? I think it is possible the ship gets filled for a certain age group, thus your whole booking gets denied because there isn't a spot available for that child.

I called MS, the agent told me that they received a memo from DCL that all DVC rooms are booked. DVC is only allocated a certain amount of rooms. I think that we will try to rent some points and to pay cash. Any other advise?
