Hi i am Rachel i am 13. There is this guy who goes to my church. This past weekend we started to hang out more at church because of this thing we did together. Appaerently me and a few of my firends were "flirting" with him. I didnt think we were, but someone came up to me and said i liked him, i mean i sorta like him, but not really. I didnt know i was flirting with him and i would like to know what exactly flirting is?
Can anyone tell me what exactly flirting is. I know the basic purpose of flirting, but dont know that is is. Ok please help me!

okay.. umm lets see lol.

to me this is what I do when I'm flirting:
-I'll always have a smile on my face when I'm around him but i can't help it
-ill play with my hands and bite my nails.
-i can not stay still, but that always =]
-I touch their arm (idk why!?!?)
-I will say they smell good. haha
-Smell their hair while their sitting in my lap on a golf cart ahah(inside joke)

To me flirting is when you try to get your "love interest" to notice you and get them to notice that you like them. Im sorry to say it but I do act differently when I am around my crush. Hope I cleared it up haha probably not.

Everyone "flirts" differently.
When I flirt I make sarcasitc comments.
I twirl my hair (only when I'm nervous)
I pull myself close to them (like during a dance)
I compliment them ans thats pretty much it.

i do it alot according to my friends

I normally

• talk to them alot or try to talk to them whenever i can
• hang out with them alot
• laugh along with them
• make 'humourous' jokes etc.

Apparently, when I'm just hanging out with my guy friends, I flirt. I don't realize it, but that's what my other friends say. If I have a crush on a guy, I realize when I'm flirting; I just try to get closer to them, talk with them more, general flirting.

my friends always think i'm flirting with guys when i'm not
ugh, so annoying
i don't think there is anything specific everyone does to flirt
it's just like talking to a person a lot always laughing at his jokes ect.

well my friend said bubbles and i started cracking up. maybe i just laugh a lot anyway.
He is a really nice guy, he speaks french and it hilarious the message he left on my fone, it makes me laugh everytime i hear it. Ok idk what i will do. Now after talking about him i kinda want 2 go out with him. sigh. ok. being a girl is hard, specially when you r a teen. Merry Christmas!

it really depends on what your relationship with him is.. I'm really good friends with the guy I like, and we're always like insulting each other and beating each other up and stuff.. lol but theres a lot of other ways to flirt to... obviously..
