Confused...Please Help!

So, I just read on another thread that they tape the MVMCP on the first Saturday of every month. I called DIsney and two Agents told me different things..one said "call back in Novemeber" and the other said they NEVER know when the parade is..it is done spur of the moment???? What? you can't put on a parade "spur of the moment??" So, I don't know what do think now..This parade will change our whole itinerary..*want to stay away from crowds* Does anyone know when its taped or anything about it at all??

I *think* they tape a special parade the first Saturday in December. I remember giving MK a very wide birth that day! They begin setting up about a week in advance, and a lot of the stuff is still there a week later!

It isn't the evening MVMCP parade, as MVMCP isn't held on Saturday.

Does it get in the way of normal activities?? Should we be glad that we will be there when they are having the parade or disapointed? I am not sure how to feel. Now i am worried that the place is gonig to be packed !

We were in the MK when they were filming parts of the parade last year. I can't remember the exact day but it was a weekday (Thurs?) during the week after Thanksgiving. They don't run the parade all at once, just a section at a time for taping. I don't remember the crowds being any heavier except on Main Street. Once we got past Main Street we couldn't tell the difference.

It is taped across property at various times in early December. I would expect the tapings to be during the period December 5 to 9 this year.
