So I have been hanging around on booking because I was kinda hoping that FD would be offered in Sept. so in the meantime I have been researching the best way to book and places to stay. Well we had decided on trying the AOA nemo family suites and my parents and sister are going to stay in the mermaid rooms BUT now i'm reading that it is rumored that if they release free dining that the AOA and other value resorts will not be included in it. So what are my options? Value wise would it make sense to book 2 deluxe rooms so that way if FD gets released can get it or take a chance and book AOA and hope for the best? We have 4 kids ages (ds) 15,11,7 (dd) 2 and the 2 of us. But my parents just have my sister so I could put one of kids in their room and do a deluxe I think? We usually do AKL and last time we went we did that and it was fine. So any suggestions from anyone would be helpful I'm ready to book at anytime. We are looking at sept 21st/22nd to sept 28th with a 5 day ticket. Thank you so so much!!:thumbsup2

I do not have any suggestions on the best way to stay outside of AOA. But I do know that the LM rooms have not been included in any discount since they opened. Not FD or any other one for that matter. The AOA suites were included in FD last September so they will most likely receive a discount if one is offered:)

I was at Art of Animation last Sept in a standard LM room and we had free dining. From what I remember, the suites are not involved with the discounts?

Who Knows What EVIL Lurks In The Heart Of Disney Marketing?!

When Disney feels ready to implement their next promotion they will do so. If other recent promotions have been any indication, for about the first month nobody will really understand it and the Marketing people will not have thought out all the ramifications.

So there is no real use in discussing what Disney may or may not do until it is announced.

If money is a concern, there is no way that is will be cheaper to stay at a deluxe and get free dining (IF it is offered) over staying at AoA, no matter what type, if any, free dining is offered for that resort.

This thread is better suited for the Resorts board, so I've moved it here. :)
