Confused - DCL website vs TA info on reservation

We just booked a cruise for next year. I was given the default second dining, so I asked my TA to change it to the main dining. My TA phoned DCL this morning and said I was waitlisted for main dining. Meanwhile, on my reservation on the DCL site, it lists main dining. So now I'm confused. Am I waitlisted or did I get it? It's still 9 months until the cruise, so it's reasonable to assume I might have gotten it, but if so, why would the TA say I'm only waitlisted?

Which is right?

If your reservation online lists main dining, then you got it. It sounds like there was miscommunication between DCL and your TA. Maybe the DCL CM said the wrong thing, meant to say it had been changed and instead said you'd been waitlisted.

I'd assume you got it. It's possible that the agent on the phone could only mark waitlist but then it updated automatically.

Just a REALLY SHORT wait-list. LOL. If it says main on your reservation, then you are good. Something like this happened to my sister once. She called DCL about an excursion, and the person on the phone said it was full and couldn't promise a slot, but when she checked her online reservation like a hour later, it was there, and they went on the excursion, so the reservation was correct.

Funny enough, I checked on line before I phoned the TA. But the TA had a strong French accent (I'm in Canada), and if the DCL CM had a Spanish accent, for example, I could see a miscommunication happening. At least, I'm hoping that's the case.

I was sure I was going to have to connive and beg for my family to go in 2019 and then, my DS said he'd love to go in 2018 and DH said, 'yeah, sure' all in one dinnertime conversation. My younger DS and I just looked at each other, thinking, 'well that was easy', but now, 9 months after opening day, I am scrambling a bit to catch up and trying not to think about the extra $1600 it's costing us for making a decision now instead of 2 months ago.

Just remind yourself of how much you are going to SAVE by doing this trip in 2018 instead of however much they raise the prices for 2019. LOL. But if there is ANY chance you might go AGAIN in 2019, definitely talk about it sooner. Haha.
