Confused by Meet and Greets

So, we were looking at the schedule for meet and greets at the various parks. Specifically, my husband wants to get pictures of my daughter with Rapunzel. When we go to the Disney website and view the Rapunzel Meet and Greet page, we see this:

But when we click on "show in my plans," we see this:

November 1st is grayed out.

OK, so the only other date we could possibly make it that isn't grayed out is October 31st. When we click on that, we see this:

We're planning on going to AK that day, but we've got park hoppers, and I wouldn't mind going at 8am to MK to get the pictures and then hopping to AK after that, but 8am - 9am is EMH, and we're not staying at a Disney resort, so we won't be able to make the meet and greet.

So, are we screwed for meeting Rapunzel? This is all EXTREMELY confusing. Some help would be greatly appreciated!

Never used the my plans part of MDE (other than for FP+), but my guess is that it is just a glitch. Rapunzel is available everyday, pretty much all day, so you will be able to meet her anytime you wish. Just know that MK closes at 7pm on both 10/31 and 11/1. Have a great trip.

I don't really understand what the "show in my plans" does, but it does say "Reminder, this is not a reservation" - I'd ignore it, Rapunzel meets all day, so far as I know!

I'm going to guess your best bet is to use fastpass when you will be in the MK - I think both FP+ and FP- are available for the princesses.

I thought FP+ isn't available until November 7th. Am I wrong?

Select on site guests are currently testing FP+. Those staying off site and those not in select Disney resorts do not currently have access to FP+.

OK - that's what I thought. I'm setting up FP+ for the one day of our trip that it'll be available. For the rest of our trip though, it won't. Guess FP- will just have to do.
