Hi,
Ok on this site and another site they both report 50's Prime Time will be closed from 1/20 - 2/2 and I have a ressie for the 26th.

I called the dining line and they have mention of it at all and said it is not closing? :confused3

Who should I believe? I guess Disney being they have the official computers.

i'd be curious to know this as well....we made ressies at sci fi but would rather eat at 50's if it will be open....anyone know?

I think we might be the only 2.

:rotfl2:

Did you try making ressie's there? I got one but just confused now.

I don't know what the exact answer is, but I have seen the rehab closure in several web-sites ( at least 7). It is confusing, but what I learned is that sometimes you can get conflicting answers from a CM. I would call back a couple of times to ask. There is a thread on the resorts board discussing the new CRT system. That includes dining, there is some pretty interesting information there. We had alot misinformation come out right before the 2008 rates were out. Most of it sadly was incorrect. I find it hard to believe that so many sites would report this ( and some reputable travel sites) and it be wrong. I really don't know, I hope it works out for you. Call back again and see if when you talk to a different CM, you get a different answer. Good luck, let us know what you find out. You have got me very curious to know.

I will post once I know.

I do know that the rehab schedules on the DIS come from an official Disney source, so at least something is in the planning for that restaurant during those dates. As everyone knows - things change often with Disney, and communication within its own groups is often not consistant.

I would say if in doubt and you already have a ressie for during those dates, you could certainly call Dining back and inquire further until you get a CM who has some current information, or else come up with a back up plan for if it is really closed during that time. Often Disney will start calling guests to let them know that their ressie isn't really going to work out and attempt to help relocate them, but it may not be until closer in when reservations to other prime locations may be hard to come by.
