Confused . . . booking Fastpass+ at midnight?

So I have figured out that I need to go online Oct. 6th to book my fastpasses for our vacation starting December 5th. I want to make sure I don't mess up - am I really going to book these at midnight on the 5th? Or midnight on the night of December 6th. Confusing! Thanks for any help you can give me!!

It would be midnight on the night of the 5th into the 6th. MAke sure you are using EST and adjusting your time to match EST if you are not on the East Coast.

Your MDE account will tell you how long before the feature unlocks. Just try to click on it and it will give you the exact date of when it will be available. Remember that Midnight is the very beginning of a new data, so plan for the "night before."

It's not working for me. When I click on it, it's just kinda grayed-out, not letting me make any selections. I can click on New FastPass+ but then the next screen only shows me, and no options are available to click. But I'm pretty sure about the date already - i have done the math several times.

I will say that on Monday we did our reservations for our November trip that includes Thanksgiving week and we were able to get EVERYTHING we wanted including Anna and Elsa meet and greet and the 7DMT. We followed the advice to start with the dates at the end of the trip and work towards the beginning. We are there 9 days so I think that helped too. Having two days in each park made it surer flexible for us. We weren't able to book during the MVMCP though and when I called they said they don't do FP+ for those times. I had read differently on here but I guess we'll see.

Same here. We are there 9 days and had no problems. We started at the end, got A&E and mine train, and worked our way back. I'll admit that by the time I got to day 1 it was pretty picked over, but we still got BTMRR, Pirates and Splash mtn. We did have to change plans for day 2 also because there were no FP in the early afternoon for what we wanted, so we had to plan on going to the park earlier than we wanted. I think we are probably going the same week, and I thought we would have more problems with it being thanksgiving week, but it was easy.

You're seeing exactly what you're supposed to see since you're not at your 60 day mark yet. When you hit your 60 day mark, everything will open up.

When you sign in using a regular browser and not an app, and you go under My Plans, it will show you how many days you have to go.

To add, what I was talking about, on the screen posted above, before 60 days, the Make Selections under FP+ will have a lock on it (or some indicator that it is not available). If you click on it anyway a notice will tell you the date that it will be unlocked.

If it makes you feel any better, I forgot to book our FP for a couple of days!! I didn't see the reminder emails when they arrived.
I booked plenty of stuff, no problem. Went back in a few weeks later and was able to adjust and get everything we wanted for times we wanted. No problems.
There was availability for Anna & Elsa (we passed on that since we saw them in Disneyland), 7 Dwarfs, Soarin, and many more. Don't worry.
