Confused about water pageant times

I'm confused!

I'm trying to find out when the Electric Water Pageant passes
by the Magic Kingdom dock.

This is what I have read:

"Magic Kingdom -- 10:20 p.m. (only during extended MK park
hours)

Note that when the Magic Kingdom Fireworks are scheduled for 9 p.m., the Electrical Water Pageant runs about 7-20 minutes later."


My questions are:

1. When the Magic Kingdom is open until 9:00 with Wishes scheduled at 9:00,
what time will the pageant pass the Magic Kingdom?
I assume 9:07-9:20?

2. When the Magic Kingdom is open until 10:00 with Wishes scheduled at 9:00, what time will the pageant pass the Magic Kingdom?
9:07-9:20 or 10:20?

3. Can you hear the music at the Magic Kingdom docks?

From my understanding, and I could be wrong, is that you can only see it from the MK if the MK is open past 10pm. I doubt they would change the whole timing just so it would pass the MK on nights the MK closes at 9 or 10pm. I have not seen the times it is suppose to pass the resorts change. We have never seen it from the MK, only the GF, POLY, and WL.

I take this to mean that the pageant would run later for the resorts, not the MK. I just don't think they would have both things going on at the same time because you can watch the fireworks from the resorts too.

I don't know, I probably just confused you more and now I'm confused!!LOL

Yeah, I can't figure it out. We won't have time to go to one of the
resorts to see it but we could catch it from the Magic Kingdom if it
will be going by there.

The EWP only performs for the MK if the MK is open until/past 10pm.

And many times there is NO SOUND (intentionally) when it is shown in the vicinity of MK.

Its not a very big or important show, but if you want to see it poperly, you'd better go to one on the resorts.
The show is less than 10 minutes long.

I agree to see it from the resorts. It is too confusing to figure out when it will pass by MK. It passes by the Polynesian at 9pm, and Contemporary at 10:05pm. It also passes by the Grand Floridian and I think the Wilderness Lodge, but I don't know the times.
