confused about UY

I get that this is the month that your points get refreshed, but unsure about the whole idea of chosing a UY based on your vacation tendencies.

I like to go at the end of April. If I were to go thru with a DVC, what UY would I want?

If late April is the main or only time that you like to go March or April UY's would be the most ideal, but any UY's that would allow you to still bank points if you ever had to cancel your reservation would work also.

As long as you don't see your travel times changing anytime soon and since you are talking about buying direct and will have a choice of UY's I'd stick with Mar or Apr. If you were buying resale then I would open up the consideration a bit a look for the best contract in UY's that would work.

As PP said, March or April UY would work great for your April vacations. This UY would also be good for travel during the summer months and into the fall.

If you ever forsee wanting to go around the holidays (Nov/Dec), then an Oct UY would work for those months and your April vacations.
